the right thing to do would be to tell your boyfriend you want him to role play and use different accents.

she didn't have a right to. but in the real world, if you call a strange woman a bitch to her face in a non-joking manner, be prepared to be slapped or have something thrown on you. it's not right, but it is reality. there are words that can provoke reflex responses just like her slap provoked yours. if the club has video, which most do everywhere, you could pull it and if need be use it in court to prove she initiated the assault. but even with that, your best case scenario is that you were bot…

as a camera operator who has worked news affiliate stuff as well as documentary work, i would never step in or even speak unless i thought someone was in mortal danger or my gear was in peril. not to seem jaded or detached, but when you see something like this happening thru the viewfinder or while you are pulling sound, you think "is my shot framed", " remain unobtrusive so my presence doesn't influence the scene" and finally "oh hell yes, this is gold."

I'm a man with a daughter who doesn't have my last name. in ten years it has never caused the least bit of confusion. In todays world, with step- families, etc. it is not unusual in the least, never raises an eyebrow. do what feels right to you and your fiance. fuck the world and its outdated conventions.

how long is your profile? if mine is too long and detailed, does it make me sound desperate? do you say you're looking for a relationship, or just dating, friends, hang out...etc?

yes, i think i'm gonna opt for the day date- just because it's easier logistics wise, i can always set up a night date to follow. i will make eye contact priority number one. i like what you say, as long as i maintain eye contact, along with the occasional touch, she'll interpret that how she wants to. EDIT: also the part about remaining consistent with the way i've acted before, i needed to hear. i'll be tempted to fawn over her a bit just because we'll be away from a work environment for the f…

great point on the divorce talk. i knew i had to make sure not to give the impression i was still messed up by it. i just have not had any practice talking about it it with someone i was interested in. the "these things happen" and "almost like it's boring" is the way to go.

this is old, but it seems like Robert Downey starred in a movie called "The Pick Up Artist" or something like that back in the 80's

tell them to correct their posture; it does multiple things- seems like a compliment (like you're saying they got the goods just need to hold it right), yet you're being critical, and also makes them submit to your suggestion because most of them will follow your instructions on the spot. could also give you the opportunity for touch.

the human brain strains to see patterns in everything. i had a good friend in my 20's who was injured riding a bull, before he was the sweetest guy you could ever know, came back after his injury and was a vile, aggressive, combative person. everyone who knew him noted the change. The guy we knew had died that day. more recently I have witnessed a midlife crises turn a rational, mature individual into a 37 year old adolescent in a matter of weeks. such is life. sure, patterns exist- but so does …
