She used the threat of state sponsored violence. Do you think every arrest goes smoothly? Sorry she deserves the 10 maybe don't commit crimes if you don't want to be locked up.

This appears to be a lunatic exchanging mad ravings with another lunatic. I don't know what the hell I just read.

They have bottomless buckets of cash and an organized presence at colleges and other places if we fought for them who would fight for us?

So, from what you're suggesting we should all admit we're overly privileged, shun allies and other men, and shame men who seek to find fulfillment by not engaging with women? You take a cheap shot at PUA for trying to get women and then in almost the same breath a shot at MGTOW for ignoring them. What exactly are you advocating other than the status quo?

Agreed if I find someone wearing them it will make it a lot easier to identify the people who are deranged enough to buy the rape culture garbage.

This is one of the most patronizing ad campaigns I've ever seen to be honest. It would boil my blood if I thought the people behind it had enough brain cells to rub together.

Except you are and drug rehab to boot they have to be covered or they wouldn't issue you a plan. Learn to read.

In fact showing consideration or decency towards someone you don't respect is pretty noble.

I like how they co-opted the "menz" and gave it a more serious bent.

Use am imgur link next time let's not feed this trash page views or ad dollars. Starve the beast.

Not disagreeing but if you looked at the ww1 trenches and the likelihood of surviving going "over the top" gender is pretty irrelevant in the face of a maxim machine gun.

And that's ok. We never entertained the idea that we were going to get radical feminists or their supporters to change their minds. We're looking for people not entrenched in ideology and dogma.

Yes and by deleting this they can claim that they don't have an extremist bent. Leave their bigotry on display to the world it undermines their credibility.

You're right I just hate giving them more ad views and readers even voices of dissent can lend credibility and I for one believe he deserves none.

Not that this isn't a men's issue but I don't know anyone who talks about Ted turner in a way that endorses him and even putting this trash here gives him more voice than his competency warrants.

It's not an individuals job to prove the thoughts of a whole movement take your pc crap and false concern elsewhere.

20 children die and here we are still here boot stomping for gun bans but when men commit suicide in droves... Crickets.

Perhaps but it is implying that voicing your positive opinions of men's rights will get you ostracized by those around you as if you were a Neanderthal. This is attempting to shame people into silence I'm just saying ignore this advice as I think it's wrong and if your friends shame you anyways their just bigots anyways.

I wanted to respond to this post but it seems almost a threat of sorts Don't talk about MRA you'll be an outcast. I would almost accuse OP of actually being a fem plant because of the sort of shaming language and incitement to self censorship.

Clever although not 100% spot on even recently we've seen articles about women using men for proxy violence.

Thanks I guess although satire can still be offensive. I haven't seen anyone on here make any special notes about these traditional tips you said that was your example but do you have some evidence a la a link?
/r/MensRights16/01/13 11:11 PM

So attacking traditional tips from a decade ago is credible or relevant to life in 2013 how?

Google rape prevention tips and tell me which page you find follow sharia law or anything about middle eastern dress. What is this strawman about?
/r/MensRights16/01/13 10:31 PM

Dentists recommend brushing to prevent cavities too does that mean we should feel oppressed by sound advice that can be ignored at will?
/r/MensRights16/01/13 10:18 PM

They're not rules they're tips don't follow them if you don't want.

It's bigoted trash. Warning people that they could be victims of lunatics is not the same as accusing half the population of being lunatics.
/r/MensRights16/01/13 08:34 PM
2

Unless you can bring up some kind of modern campaign where there are a bunch of posters telling women to wear flannel or some such nonsense I don't see how this isn't a strawman peppered with a little false equivalence. I am indeed told there are places I shouldn't be for my safety and anyone who shows no concern for themself while drinking is looking for trouble regardless of gender. Suffering knows no gender why aim all the resources in one direction? Ninja edit: devils advocate if men weren't…
/r/MensRights16/01/13 08:12 PM

Men can be victims of rape too we would be held to the same standard. Applying risk prevention techniques doesn't undermine living life and if it does and you need the risk then you also must be willing to accept the outcome of risk taking behaviors.
/r/MensRights16/01/13 04:40 PM

Being dangerously drunk, allowing pride to dictate poor decisions, and taking unnecessary risks, the same shit that kills and wounds men.
/r/MensRights16/01/13 04:00 PM

No they represent any real world hazards that one could readily avoid via a different route. Not all risk is created equal. Like riding motorcycle life has no guarantees but if I want to live you bet your ass I'm wearing a helmet and Kevlar. Maybe we should start a campaign to make the whole world squishy too so I don't have to wear all that damn oppressive gear. /s

Look would you drive a 1976 civic between 2 semis and screech that life was unfair when you get squashed or drive a Volvo on an open road risk levels can be managed.

Exactly this is really what I was hoping to see. If we're going to be respected we need to be educated!

It's a little sad to be honest. The gay community has quite a stigma without increasing association with radical elements of any group. Did they think that actions like that would add or detract from an already poorly understood group's credibility.

Ok I see. I'm not going to lie to you in a world where terrorism and bigotry is still a problem when you run around in public using any form of gas on anyone it's probably a good moment to thank your lucky stars you didn't get shot for suspected terrorism.

Slow news day when this is a story. Edit: So you guys think that this woman deserves air time on tv for something that isn't news? How many of you are getting a victim mentality jeez!
