Gaza tends to come up pretty quickly. That aside you said 'any of the women I have dated or slept with' I can understand like if you said 'in the first few weeks' after that, but you didn't. Or did you just mean to say to quality that for only the early stages?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 04:19 AM

This sounds crazy to me... Do you even talk to the women you date lmao

This isn't a man thing both genders want this.. This is just what modern western expectations are.. My manager is a female director that makes 200k+/yr.. Her husband makes just as much if not more and could financially support the family if she quit, but why give up that income to stay at home? Even if you're at a median income breaking even on daycare, most people understand that daycare is a short term investment so that you can maintain your career.

Are you this gullible about everything?

Fighting ghosts.. When people think 'looksmaxxing' as a negative they're thinking absurd things like mewing, bonesmashing, leg extensions, etc.. Working out, taking care of your skin/hair, dressing better is just taking care of yourself.

Are you being silly? Men initiate and drive the initial relationship most of time. How many men have you asked out or planned dates for? As a man you can't be a passive actor and expect women to just do something, if you want to date as a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 07:58 AM

Women are even outcompeting men in white collar fields thanks to better college attendance. That's because the scale is heavily tilted in their favor. Men don't get gender based scholarships, when a major is majority men there are huge subsidies to push women into them. When a major is majority women, the answer is that men are defective that's why they're less of them there. Major post grad programs are strictly 50% minimum, men at the higher ends outperform women on standardized tests, GMAT, M…

Yeah most people are pretty transparent about wanting kids or not. It's a pretty common dealbreaker that if you're not aligned on wanting kids the relationship is over. Which is why it's an early dating question.

Are you misinterpreting what they're saying? Yeah a lot people would consider a relationship less serious until kids are involved.

Yeah everyone knows this.. Which is why I emphasize to men be more proactive and don't expect equality in the realm of dating. Men at least have a chance of being taught to be more forward.

Women who somehow always end up in exclusively straight relationships will identify as 'bi'. I know at least 5 women that identify as bi that have dated exclusively men their whole lives. I think there is a funny stat out there that young lesbian/bi identifying women are more likely to get pregnant.

? Insurance is just spreading the risk around. i.e. I personally cannot deal with the 1% risk of losing a $1M home by 'self-insuring' by saving money down monthly. But if I pool together my money with a bunch of people and we all contribute to a shared pool, we no longer need to worry about such a large loss wiping us out, as long as the risk is properly identified.. Things like car insurance are mandatory because a driver can literally caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages easily, …

Proximity and conversation mean there already has been an approach. Eh not enough, because they're still trying to gauge if the other person would be okay with escalating. Guys will start up conversations with a woman and then look for signals to see if she's actually down for a date. Until someone actually escalates to asking for a date it's not really an approach. There is no risk in going up and chatting to a stranger for a bit. If guys say 'hey' and she responds coldly or plainly then they w…

I’ve heard women explain why they don’t do it and honestly, the amount of mental gymnastics and odd reasoning I’ve heard makes me just accept it as an innate thing. That aside.. And she was being genuine. So- what are the signals a guy that wants women to approach them doing? The same kind of thing women would do where men have to navigate if she has any romantic interest. I mean.. in a childless relationship sure maybe.. But if your expectation is to date the future mother of your children you have to do that stuff and more. Pregnancy and giving birth aren't some walk in the park, intelligent women demand a high premium for that.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/25 09:06 AM

If you hang out around the kind of guys who get liad a lot and if they feel comfortable treating you like a bro you will experience a level of chauvinism that blows gamer/weeb culture out of the water. I don't think it's that ridiculous. The men I know that are most successful in the dating/relationship sphere don't mince words about gender equality being a farce. No that doesn't mean treat women like they're subhumans, but certainly don't expect them to act like men. There is a level of higher …

Women that will take a passive role in their dating lives will lead to some version of this. Because at best they're just saying no until the right guy shows up instead of actively doing some vetting on their part.

Most notorious victim I can think of is Mckenzie Bezos, poor lady went for a short ugly broke dude and the SECOND he had access to women he actually wanted, she got cheated on Really? That's your 'notorious victim'? Jeff Bezos was never a guy with zero options, he was a well spoken high earning guy from an excellent school. His wife was also not some 10/10 model, she was mid, just like him. That aside Bezos isn't really a good example of a guy cheating the first opportunity he got... He cheated …

Women, especially feminists are scared that men will realise the price of sex is low and are worried that men will generally disregard most of them giving up on dating and opting for hookers. That’s why they mostly try to make it illegal. How much different is life for men in countries where it is effectively legal/decriminalized? Doesn't seem that different for men dating in Canada, Germany, Australia, etc...

Hair This matters a lot for men too.. Except we have to deal with a high risk of balding Skin care regimen Everyone should have one. Botox Fillers Lipo Breast augmentation BBLs I wonder if there are more men under 25 that use TRT/some kind of gear than women under 25 that have any of that

Being a passive agent in your own life sounds terrible. Yeah and the faster young men realize the power in being active the better. Literally solves all of your problems. I don't think this gender role is going away any time soon either. Even the most progressive woman demands men take the lead and will make excuses why they won't do anything about it (see most of the replies in this thread lmao).
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/25 01:42 AM

Start lifting weights and try to keep eating the same amount you usually do. It'll increase your resting burn rate while making you look better. Eventually you'll recomp to a slightly more fit build. Yeah I get you're a small woman, but you won't actually look 'too big' or worse or whatever, as long as you're not takin the opportunity to overeat like many people do. You might find yourself stop fixating on weight then, you'll look better at a trained 120lbs than purely skinny 100lbs..

This false equivalence is brought up almost every time this discussion pops up. Probably the most defining trait between the genders tbh and the biggest difference in how they date. Not a false equivalence at all, and men need to know they have to overcome it if they want any semblance of suscess.

He's an awesome dude, luckily a nice asian girl in our group took note and now he's happily engaged, only girl he's been with but she's a catch so it worked out well. The problem is that he couldn't even ever get the chance to make an impression on women to show how great of a guy he is. My very attractive friends could be doing literally nothing, mumble their answers, ghost women for months and then pop back up and these ladies will still make time for them.

If you're not flexing it how will women know? What does a guy making $175K+ look like vs a guy making $60K+ at a bar? As a guy on the edge (~$165K a year), money has never been a factor me or my friends. My shorter programmer friend making $200k+/yr couldn't even get his foot in the door of even maintaining a woman's interest. A more strategic proactive woman could probably parse this all out, but in every case I've been out vibes/looks comes first.

Most women are me-too bombs for men they aren't attracted to. Nah or men they were spurned by. Chris Avellone's career was ruined over a woman that was bitter he was never into her.

I think there is plenty of casual misogyny on the internet too.. The bigger issue is that casual misandry is accepted and almost encouraged in the mainstream. In pop culture, mass media, even in school/work you can get away with so much casual misandry.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/24 03:21 PM

Or it could be because I know how to communicate, be respectful, and treat women like the literal people they are. I'd often ask, what was it about me that got your attention, and literally 100% of the answers were you're just a normal dude that didn't just want to get in my pants. Absolutely delusional. You don't garner attention by interacting like a normal polite person, that's 99% of people.

I see this sentiment online magnified, but in real life I have absolutely never heard one woman complain about not getting approached, only complain about being approached. I think for women that fail at dating, they don't even know that was an option and they just purely cycle through the same 10% of men on apps. This whole complaining about not being approached seems to be online rage bait material used to get clicks.

Like I know more than a few women who just aren't into casual sex like that, these people seem to think that every single woman lives like a Sex & The City character. Who said anything about casual sex? Women will put you in the non-sexual box even if they're not about casual sex if you treat them simply 'like anyone else'. Women who don't have casual sex still date and have interest in men, they just wait longer to have sex with someone they know a bit better.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/24 09:46 PM

Women who act with agency in dating generally aren't single very long for this reason. But most women can't bring themselves to do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/24 01:37 AM

Tbh I think both genders prefer to enjoy the company with their specific gender. Only when you're single does this change. Men (who aren't single) are more ambivalent about women being there, but women can often see men as a negative due to bad actors.

People are overdramatizing the gender war bullshit. It comes down to quality of life. Education culture in Korea is needlessly overbearing and high pressure. Work culture in Korea is needlessly overbearing and high pressure. There is no respect for work-life balance. Of course people are going to elect out of having children. Taiwan has a similarly low fertility rate to Korea, people aren't blaming the gender war for that.

34+47 is pretty good number tbh.. They find the right partner they will have kids. Men can say 80% confidently because the worst consequences of kids they have to deal with is a little bit of money. My female friends failing at life are pretty realistic about not wanting/being able to take care of kids, my male friends that are complete fuck ups and not ready to be parents at all are super confident about definitely wanting kids one day..

This is ludicrous. First off "most" American men do not own guns. Sorry only 40%, but that number will go up if people smell instability. Secondly, you MASSIVELY downplay the reality of living in a patriotic country in an existential war. If it wasn't obvious that's not on the table, no one is going to attack the continental US. I see videos of Ukrainians getting dragged off the street to be conscripted. I don't see that happening in America where most young men have guns and the social contract has been sufficiently broken. Unless you can sell the populace on a war. Imagine letting yourself get drafted for Israel/Ukraine. Absurd. Also most women don't care about your veteran status, these men get cheated on even more.

Are things changing? Yes, but the way people talk here in this form you'd think society has gone from 8/10 people dating and marrying down to 1/10 people dating and marrying. When it's probably more like 7.5/10 people are now dating and marrying instead if 8. It's a slight shift in our society that is way over blown in internet discussions. Huh... Finasteride should be the first step the second you see your hairline thinning/receding, everything else he was doing should be attempted if you want more and are desperate. I personally don't like mixodil because it's a lot easier to take a pill every day for the rest of your life rather than keep that routine.

I disagree. The only men who struggle are men who expect to date like women and act passively in their lives. Women of all classes adopt mostly passive dating habits and that's why it's not uncommon to see lackluster men with women. Be an active participant in your life and things change dramatically as a man. I personally struggled with this for years for a while, I will admit it was not any easy thing to get over.

Maybe you can't empathize. Speaking as a man who wants to have kids but doesn't have to deal with the physical burdens, if I had to go through what women had to for kids I probably wouldn't go through with it (that's without the strong hormones coursing through my male body of course).. Women aren't stupid, they have access to information about childbirth, pregnancy, etc.. affect their bodies. And hearing from men critiquing their bodies constantly isn't going to help them feel secure in underta…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/23 12:49 PM

I think what she means is that women don’t discuss men’s bodies as nauseam like men do for women’s bodies Lmao.

Do you work your upper body out? Creating that upper shelf with developed pecs/shoulders is imperative. Your pecs should stick out more than your 'belly'.

You will fall off a cliff on dating apps because many men up to like 35 turn set their age limit sharp at 29. But in public it'll be the same until you really visibly age.

Hah, I don't think it's much about physical attractiveness as it's much about being attracted to 'toxic' behaviors that are immediately attractive but bad long term partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 09:28 AM

I find it confusing, because those are things I do with my friends regularly. You regularly take your friends out to eat without them ever reciprocating?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/23 09:57 AM

Take them out to dinner? Eh.. we go out to eat together but don't really pay for each other outside of birthdays. Flowers? Nah, guys don't give a fuck about that. Unless your bro is into gardening and you get something specific, flowers are just.. nothing. If I see something like a t-shirt my bros will like I'll buy it, I love seeing them wear the things I picked out. Or maybe a gadget that they're missing out on that will make their lives easier. This part I do for the few female friends in my …
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/23 09:56 AM

I think it's a good idea if you're a man with some kind of power people are interested in taking advantage of. If another man complains about how disrespectful you were or how they felt forced into something most people wouldn't care. But there are different standards regarding agency and women.

The problem is what's the profitability in that? Dating apps want you to keep you hooked and using them. Selling the cure doesn't make as much money as dragging it out. That's why sites like Okcupid got bought by the same people that run the apps and gutted it. Okcupid pretty much did that, pretty well, with giving you options to set dealbreakers/importance for answers, etc..

Government policy already punishes it by making these men responsible for any children they sire. But it's up to women to be harsh on promiscuous men. All other men can do is something like 'protect' their sisters/friends from these men, but ultimately women make their own decisions.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 05:33 PM

Also because being a passive actor in your dating life is something most women just do regardless. Being a passive actor as a male is death sentence.

Such a silly thing to worry about. I love coffee, makes restricting my appetite so easy. I drink it all day. Sometimes when I'm busy I end up going without it at all for a day without issue. At worst if you're one of the people that gets headaches going off caffeine it's a couple of hours worth at most that could easily be mitigated by pain killers for that day.

I'm not a fan of deadlifts for aesthetics. Becomes too much of an ego lift. I've never seen a small guy rep 2+pl8 for bench, but I've seen way too many small guys pulling massive numbers on deadlifts. It's also risky in the sense where if you 'cheat' or get tired you fuck your back up. So many people I watch in terms of content creators always fuck their backs up on deadlifts.

rendering women biologically obsolete Insanity. Aside from a few megalomaniacal wealthy men, most don't care to have legions of children they don't plan on personally raising. As evidenced by family courts, most men do not in fact want to have anything to do with their bastards. So many toxic men on here wish we could go back back to the good ol’ days of the patriarchy and sexism because that way they could use money to coerce women into giving them affection. That mindset is toxic and disgusting. Right but what does that have to do with today? Where women can earn their own living?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/23 06:15 PM

I mean if you're not a fat woman in America you could easily manage to land a 150k+ husband if you're okay with him looking mid. But most women are actually not gold diggers and are fine with dating men they are actually attracted to and not making a ton of money.

Women are the ones that almost need men to be taller than them. Guys are way more flexible on this. But short guys know women's preference and aren't going to risk a 90% chance of rejection on the off chance a taller woman would be okay with it. Speaking anecdotally I've seen a ton more elder millennial (late 20s-mid thirties) WMAF family with kids than AMAF family with kids. So maybe there is something to that. A lot of white nerdy men that compromise with having an AF partner to have the family they always wanted.

Men DO have it better in dating because they have the ability to be the architects of their own success. Of course that's a double edged sword (can't just sit back on dating apps) but that kind of attitude is what gives men a structural advantage in everything. Women whether it's culturally or biologically at large are passive actors. A woman who strategically dates and takes initiative probably has it better though.

FDS is all just very confusing to me.. They select for men that would only approach them with little knowledge about them, they wait too long it's lame or manipulative. They want a guy with a big dick but lament how they waste 6 months on a guy before their sex rules or whatever; oh and he fucked up on the first time better discard him now.. This is why sex workers are biggest misandrists and have generally gone into the deep end of radical feminism. They saw the worst of men and think that's all they are. I can't imagine how stupid you have to be to take their accounts as representative of men, but I guess that explains FDS

Where do you live where 120k/yr isn't enough to raise a kid? The Bay Area? LA? Manhattan?

Sounds like you just don't value having/raising kids.. you can definitely afford kids.

In the past year I've made a lot of effort into going out more to bars/dance clubs/etc than I ever have. Since covid inspired me into action. In this short time I've had more conversations with women, women have approached me, etc.. in the past year than my whole life. I've never to this day been able to get shit from OLD. I still need to work on actually maintaining interest and going out on dates, making moves, etc.. but yeah OLD has been nothing but a waste of time for me. Though I wouldn't c…

Men have it better than women period imho. I've always leaned towards being grateful for being born a man, reading forums like twoX makes me not even doubt it anymore.

I think people shouldn't force themselves into certain lifestyles. That's the cause of most of our problems. People who can't handle monogamy should stay out of it and I wish they were honest about it from the start.

? If the woman isn't interested enough to go out on a date without a de facto bribe then she shouldn't date that man.. Is fucking a thing women do for men or do they want it themselves?

I never understood this. Do people charge acquaintances (before they became friends) for having the absurd idea of asking you to hang out? I always thought it was a two way street, why would women say yes to a date if they felt like they were owed compensation for having to hang out with a person?

And being skinny is not some huge accomplishment - it's called having basic self respect for yourself. I wish that were the case. Puts you in the vast minority in the UK and US.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 09:28 PM

34 year old women without kids and skinny are not anywhere close to the wall.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 02:30 AM

This women strategically dated to find a good partner. If all women dated like her then yeah, they would quick move past men wasting their time and end up with 'average' men like that if they could stomach them.

Just hit 30 this past week, still haven't broken enough to consider a hooker yet.. But at this point I am willing to pretty much pay for dates with women on tinder/bumble/etc for the simple experience of it.. if I could maintain their interest in a conversation to get to the point of getting a date.

I'm too socially awkward to get women romantically involved in me, but I have no problem commanding the respect of men and women professionally or even in my personal life.

Then he should use his wealth to move to a place with some east asian women.. Short white men with east asian women is an extremely common pairing.

Wait until the only people having children want to have children, so eventually the problem fixes itself. People in the most prosperous countries in human history choose to have the least amount of children. Independent of money, kids are just not for everyone. When people have the choice, many are not interested. Why do we need so many people in the first place, until we solve scarcity we shouldn't really aim to bring in more people into this world..

Probably means overweight, not obese. Sad to say that here in the South it really easily is 50%+ of young people being overweight, with ~20%+ being obese.

Generally if you're complaining about dating on reddit (beyond minor usual bs) then you're definitely not high value.

Upper middle class money isn't enough to do shit in the US. South Asian men are among the highest earning in the US, everyone knows this, doesn't help much. This isn't necessarily a race thing either, nerdy high earning white dudes in tech industry aren't doing well.

Farming orbiters whether you're a man or woman takes effort to maintain. You have to almost cultivate what feels like a parasocial relationship through social media to do it unless you happen to run into the same people all the time. I know super gorgeous men and women, and neither have orbiters because they don't maintain relationships with people they don't really care about just for the attention. Every now and then they have a new person pop up that really wants to get to know them, but sinc…

You don't need to be a millionaire or even make 6 figures to do it What. I can't imagine these young attractive women seeking a transactional relationship would be satisfied with $1-2k spent on them a month. Anything beyond that demands a higher salary, unless you're really fine with spending 20% of your pre-tax on this..

You're being too reductive. Handsome well socialized 'cool' men still consume porn and are dumbasses about following thots on instagram.

Interesting: Young women are seeing less and less benefits to being in relationships, causing them to ditch it entirely I think it's this; women just don't need to hitch themselves to a single man to live. The earlier generations of men didn't really need excessive courtships rituals or some x factor to 'woo' women. They offered a stable life to a woman who couldn't provide for herself. My parents didn't have some extended courtship ritual. My dad was gainfully employed, kind, and boring and tha…

Those who complain about not having options, that's still not a good indicator. I know men who were celibate and virgin and were garbage at finding people but good at keeping them, AKA good husbands. This is where I feel like I fail. I'm just really bad at creating that instant of interest/excitement which leads to getting dates. The few times I've had opportunities is purely because of being around women for a long enough time through mutual friends, unfortunately these women were explicitly no…

i have a feeling that wide-spread demand for sex-bots would be atrocious for the already dying climate. What? Do you know what's bad for the climate? More people living a first world standard of life.

This never made sense to me. My friends who are absolute players will approach everyone whether they're down to only fuck or not. Women making it easy for them has nothing to do with whether they're serious about it or not. It has to do with the boundaries women set whether they'll be strung along or not. If you don't make it clear what you want a guy asking you out first won't make a difference.

Pftt where are these women at all these bars I'm going to. I mean they're there, but just absolutely way outnumbered by men.
