Perhaps try to get a house share with people that seem alright. It makes it much easier to bond, and at least you can say hi to a few people every day. Baby steps, mate.

Thanks, Chris! That sounds reasonable.

Thanks for the reply, Sisal. I realise this is me being superficial but I simply have no desire to approach unattractive girls (note, not ugly - unattractive - purely subjective). I just find it to be hypocritical (with myself and to them). In his article Chris is talking about being true to one's intentions. In my gut I feel I will gain nothing by talking to girls I have no interest in. In fact, my distaste will surely be obvious to them. This will sound horrible: I do not care about how pretty…

Hi Chris. You advocate to not take talking to girls seriously and being relaxed when interacting with them, which I totally agree with and can do with girls I'm not interested in or if there is an abundance of pretty girls. However, I have difficulty following those tenets when attractive girls are few and far between (South East England). The whales and walking rectangles that are about just make the girls that take care of themselves (work out; stand straight, not humped; make eye contact, etc…

Great stuff, dude! How long does it usually take to have matches on Tinder? I've been there for 3 days already and nothing... also, I consider myself to be with above average looks, and I've put a reasonably quirky bio.

Looking forward to reading them!

Is there any literature you know of that discusses assuming attraction in more detail?

The assuming bit. It implies one believes something is true where there is a good chance it is false.

Easier said than done. If one is able, though, sure thing.

Good stuff, dude! Keep it up. I might get inspired, too. I'd be interested to see the follow-ups when you engage next. Regarding text game there is a huge forum thread in the attraction forum. On mobile atm so I cant link but google is your friend!

I appreciate the vote of confidence. I know appetite comes with eating but by motivation to go out and jump in the icy cold water is not so high these days. Being in a new town with nobody I know does not help, either... Good luck to all on the road to better themselves!

Well put, op. I wish I had the resilience to stick with it as you did.

You've got the right attitude, which is awesome. Some say its a numbers game, for me personally it is until I find someone worth sticking with. Either way, sarge on!

The idea is to initiate a small conversation after the number close. Shortly after you extract yourself with an excuse such as the one I give below. I will use your example to illustrate what I mean. After the number close you could say "I know a cool spot that I'm sure you are really going to like (smile)." Then you can say "I gotta meet some friends now, I'll see you over the weekend". It would be great to hug her when you part ways but I think in order to get there you should initiate kino th…

Good stuff, fossil. Really well-written read, had me standing on the edge of my stool at certain points in the story. 10/10 would read again! I'm really impressed with the success you've had on your first sarging session. I do recognise that you have conditioned yourself throughout that day towards success.

Good stuff. I think a balance between leaving her wanting more and staying 1-2 mins to chat is the way to go. She won't get a weird vibe that way.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
