My grandmother has been taking care of my grandfather since he had a stroke and became partially disabled at the young age of 42. She got a job as an aide at the hospital he was in initially, so she could look after him. She feeds him and talks to him and organizes all his nursing care still and they in their 80s now! So you need a competent woman who doesn't really have a choice to leave you and is a responsible family person. If he wasn't married he would dead now.
