From the article: Attempts to reach Anita Silerio through her children, friends and attorney were unsuccessful. She returned to the Philippines after the divorce but came back to Virginia last year to take her husband to court and, ultimately, watch him go to jail. The guy was kind of an idiot but man his ex is vindictive.

Thanks. As per your suggestion I did a search. I didn't come up with much, but what I did find seemed unnecessarily mean-spirited. But I don't get it. What's in it for him? Is his success as a media personality so tied into being anti-MRM?

Well, this is a first strike against Wil Wheaton (for me, at least). I'm not going to categorize him that way until it's clear this is typical for him. Is it typical for him? I confess I don't really follow him that closely in social media.

What happened to his whole "don't be a dick" thing? I didn't particularly value Wil Wheaton's opinion to begin with, but neither did I think he was an idiot. I considered him to have above-average conscientiousness as far as celebrities go in that he never seemed to purport to know something he didn't. I wouldn't say his posting of a survery that is so obviously tampered with is Jenny Macarthy-level foolishness but I'm still pretty disappointed. I'm interested to see what level of backlash he'll…

I'm not disagreeing with the woman's intent if indeed her intent was to ensure the safety of children. It takes a village, as they say.
