I think the idea that sluts aren’t ideal for commitment is due to that exactly. Promiscuity is usually considered a red flag for commitment. Same way women will be less likely to be committed to a man if they know they have also been promiscuous in the past. It goes both ways. People don’t want to commit to people they’re not sure about. It’s about return on investment. That’s if you want commitment anyway.
