My ex's favorite red flag behavior in this was to say "well YOU did xyz 8 months ago so I feel justified in my behavior!" Whenever I brought up something that bothered me. And I always wanted to address the issue within 24 hours of it happening.

Funny enough, FDS helped me realize how harmful porn is to women and that I really only watched it to be 'cool' to the L/NVM I was so desperately trying to impress back in my pick me days. I can't thank FDS enough for showing me the error of my ways and also reminding me that I am enough just the way I am and if a man can't see that then boy bye. Just. Bless this group of women.

I used this mantra when my LVM ex wouldn't do the dishes because "there were so many or he "forgot" (he's literally home all day, boy had to eat.). The dishes wouldn't get done for almost a month - he would just wash THE ONE DISH AND UTENSIL HE WAS GOING TO USE.

This 100%. I unfortunately have a high body count for this very fucking reason. If I were to only count the guys I actually WANTED to sleep with, the number would fit on one hand. There's nothing wrong with a high body count - if you want that, but most of my sexual encounters were Either forced, coerced, or I was just too scared to say no.

This is a really sad reality. I saw a woman sleeping on the side of the road near my neighborhood, and when I went to check on her, I saw that her entire right eye had been swollen shut. She told me she was homeless, living in the city (I'm near the suburbs) and while she had laid down to go to sleep, a man came out of no where and attacked her. I appreciate all the advice ladies! There's a lot of things that I'd never know to consider a red flag without this sub. The guy is nice enough and I think he does have potential to be a good relationship, but I'm not itching to get into a relationship with him or anyone else any time soon. I just recently ditched a true LVM I was with for 5 years so I'm just exploring options right now.

I know it hurts now but you will be so much better off in the long run. You will eventually find a man who loves, respects, and appreciates everything about you. I just recently ended a 5 year relationship myself where we weren't having sex at all - he had pushed for an open relationship and I begrudgingly agreed and spent a year in that hell (plus some other shit that he did but that's besides the point).
