That’s just like, your opinion, man.

This is a matter of semantics: believe all women enough to follow up on their claims but not to the extent that you blindly believe what they say without critical analysis. We’re making the same point.

I hate that the idea of due process and a day in court is out the window. I wish people realized “believe victims” doesn’t mean “they’re always telling the truth” but rather “take it seriously enough that you find actual evidence and conduct a legitimate investigation”.

She walked right up to the guy and punched him. Not sure what old girl thought would happen after

Lol so guys go to the gym to defend you, not for their health or esteem? Right.

You matched with someone looking for an argument OP, not with someone looking for a conversation. Been said to death but you dodged a major bullet with this one; righteous indignation, condescension, and a generally immature attitude? Yeah, this one is best left as the way that got (far) away

Just feel bad for the time this guy wasted on a liar and a manipulator. This whole video makes it clear that whatever "love" she may have had for him was completely rooted in his role as provider for her and her child. She would have taken that secret to the grave if she could have. What I see at the end of this video is not a woman that's scared that her family and relationship are failing but a woman that realizes the meal ticket is over and that she doesn't actually have a way to afford her l…

It’s amazing how eager they were to defend their “right” to hit a man. They completely sidestepped the idea that a woman could provoke violence as if ridiculous to even consider. They also completely sidestep the idea that a man can hit a breaking point and be provoked. It’s sickening how much they want to get away with while acting like we’re “savages”. I really hope the men in their lives take precaution against them because they really come off one sided here.

What’s amazing to me is that she continues to double down. There’s clear footage of her doing it and she has the nerve to say it’s edited (as if people that actually video edit wouldn’t call her out). I want to believe 6 months in a foreign prison would do something to humble this woman but I fear it only made her think she’s a martyr.

I was hoping someone would say this

I'd prefer the former to the latter but really, what you want is a decent balance of the two. Neither extreme is really enticing

Anything in an extreme is negative. Being masculine isn't inherently bad but mocking things or people or refusing to try or participate in things because of said masculinity is bad.

More than offense, it's hurtful. When you know in your heart what your intentions are, having the person you care about most question that just feels shitty. I think I would do it though, just to prove to them that there's nothing to worry about, but we would need some kind of counseling or therapy to address that lack of trust. If they don't want to work on our trust levels or if they expect a battery of tests from me after every solo trip, then I'd start to consider ending it (just my two cent…

If I knew it wasn't serious, sure, why not. But never with someone I could see a real future with.

It's going to take time to work through but you'll get through it. Occupy your mind with new interests and hobbies. Remind yourself of your worth and that you did nothing to make this happen. It's scary to open up to someone after being betrayed like that, but working on yourself will hopefully remind you of what you have to offer, will fill your mind with new ideas instead of lingering on old ones, and should give you strength to remember you can move on from anything. Been in your shoes OP! Do…

The mistaken age thing always gets me. You mean to tell me you're the only person having that error and can't change their age? Sure.

He's amazingly calm for having his time wasted for four years. If nothing else, it's good that stood up for himself. As long as he maintains that mentality, OP should be alright. You can only play the fool if you let them make you one.

Hit her with this and she'd lose her mind lol She's the type to fish out standards but call someone an asshole for expecting the same back. It's hilarious she thinks she's gonna put an alpha in a beta's place

33 with that list of demands, that mess of a home, AND she doesn't (read: can't) have her kids? I want to say her 40s will be a hell of a wake up call, but we all know she's going to blame it everyone else but her.

This all happened in 9 months too! Like Jesus lady, five kids and no stability whatsoever, a marriage and a divorce, a side "business"... Anyone that supports heron her life is either just as fucked mentally or just appreciates a good train wreck when they see it.

Flat out tells you she doesn't give a shit about things most guys care a lot over. I'd almost want to thank her for the warning signs honestly

Does she not know what life in a city is like? At worst people are rude, at best they're in their own bubble and don't realize. If she needed to get by, she could have used common courtesy and just asked the guy to move. But with this absolutely insane behavior, she thinks she's entitled to civility and gentlemanliness? Haha yeah sure, alright.

This story is amazing.. Notice that she never mentioned regretting her choice after the break up or even when she was off "discovering new worlds". Regret only came in LONG after the fact so I'm not sure it even counts.. Guy has been with someone else for 8 years! If this girl dated him in college, I doubt the relationship they had was anywhere near that length. At this point, the guy has had more time AWAY from his ex than WITH her so why would he go back for what is, essentially, a blip in his…

The idea of the "over night instant family starter pack" is alluring to no guy with common sense. You'll never be a priority to her because, if she's a half way decent parent, she'll put the kids above you more often than not. There's a girl I went to HS with and, when you compare her partners before her kids to her husband after the kids, there's no way she would have given him the time of day if she didn't have children. There's nothing noble about playing White Knight.
