The thing I got out of it is that if women are the majority on a type of job holder, that type pays less. When men take over, it pays more. In general, for some reason (perhaps because men make a lot of wage decisions) work of men is valued more than work of women. 5	My school had a student presentation to prove the objectification of women in the entirety of the workplace by looking at TWO restaurants: Hooters and the Tilted Kilt. Just FYI there is no requirement to tip. It is expected, yes, but at least once a shift you will have a table that leaves nothing. And people tip anywhere from nothing to maybe 30 percent.
