I feel you, man. I've been down that road and still am struggling a bit with it. The best thing you can do is get a girlfriend or someone you can have sex with regularly who is not interested in you only for the sex. You won't have so much pressure on you that way. You'll have to accept that things might not go as well as you expected the first few times, but that's okay. Then, just have lots of sex. Eventually, the anxiety and all the problems associated will go away on their own. You know, som…

Just like any other social thing, you have to be very aware of your context. I'm a student in an European country, so what I personally do might not be the best plan for a different location or age group. I usually do the same thing as you for first dates, though: just go out, have something light to eat and take a walk. What I've experienced is that changing location helps the date not lose rhythm. Sometimes you're sitting at a park and, after a while, you feel the conversation starting to stal…

So how'd it go?

Well, yeah. First things first, if it's your first date, don't get your expectations too high. And by this I don't mean it'll be a bad date. Just go and hang out with the girl to get a sense of what a date is actually like. That should be your only goal. Don't worry about the kiss. Don't worry about awkward silences. You'll have time to work on that later. Then, when it comes to the kiss, my usual algorithm is as follows: if you feel that the girl is really receptive, then wait for a window to o…

Don't overthink it. Go to a couple different places. Just be yourself. Go for the kiss. You're ready now.

I agree with most of what you said. My advice to the OP, though, is as follows: You should be focusing on learning how to play the game. If you do that, winning will be an inevitable byproduct. Plus, you won't be constantly getting frustrated if you're not getting any results at the moment. It's like Dark Souls. Ever played it? Man, the lessons it teaches are so damn valuable in a lot of areas. In other words, just don't sweat it too much. Take it slow. Go on dates. Talk to girls. Get rejected. …

Pretty much what everyone already said. Pick something you're curious about and immerse yourself in it. I would recommend that you don't overanalyze it too much. Sometimes the concept of "improving yourself" is a slippy one.

According to the context you're describing, I would consider it a good thing. It's not like you're "nice" in the sense that you are deep in the friendzone (though you might be). It seems to me that they enjoy being in your company and that you're comfortable around girls, which is always a good skill to have. But you're the one that knows the situation better than anyone else, so it's up to you how to interpret the situation.

You can actually use that to your advantage. There's certain charm to being a foreigner. You're probably really different to all of the guys in the area - that helps a lot. Plus, if you're confident and don't sweat your lack of fluency in the language too much, it shouldn't be a problem. Yes, you might not be able of having a somewhat sophisticated conversation, but who cares? If you learn how to deal with the potential awkwardness of the situation, you'll find that you can connect with girls mu…

The mindset I tend to stick to: "Focus on playing the game, not winning".

Operant conditioning. If the behavior of picking on you is being constantly reinforced, it's going to keep happening. Pay attention to what happens right after someone roasts you, how they might feel good by doing it. Then just think of a way to get rid of that reward. It may be as simple as redirecting everyone's attention away from that person. Easier said than done, though.

Well, now that I think about it, what I said wouldn't actually work if you are that needy, insecure guy that wants the girl to be texting back 24/7. What you said is what naturally comes out of you when you've got that confidence already. Still, focusing on playing games or simply expecting too much out of the interaction is not what you should be aiming for imao.

Well, first I have to admit that I suck at texting. But what you're saying has happened to me on a few occasions. I believe it all comes down to showing her that you're not playing games - you know, waiting a couple hours before texting back, not double texting and all that stuff. Just be natural and honest and you'll start getting that kind of response more often. Edit: show -> showing

It's easy to feel disappointed the first few times you have sex. But you have to keep in mind that sex is just a skill like any other, and right now you're just taking your first steps. Also, your mental state is a major factor for sex to be good, and it's not uncommon to be freaking out when you know you're not as experienced as you'd like. Just keep at it - it is a learning process you have to go through. Then, one day you'll be feeling exhausted and high on endorphins after hours of gettin it…
