google the rational male pdf and its the first link. i suggest you read the whole book. good luck so i did what you said, and i ctrl+f and typed in "alpha male" and there are 10 mentions of alpha males all over the book, and no section seems to be dedicated to it. the alpha male is mentioned in the beginning middle and end, so i'm not sure what your seeing but let me know which section i should look at, thanks.

how it relates to masculinity? to paraphrase Jack Donovan, men value honor in each other because an honorable man is more likely to MAINTAIN THE PERIMETER. in state of nature, having each others' backs is a matter of survival, so an honorable man is worth 100x more than someone who has a reputation for being untrustworthy and cowardly. interesting, so honor has tactical value.

that's fair, "masculinity are the traits and attributes a person, or a group ascribes to men" however, that is way to broad, when you really try to dig down in to masculinity it's actually very very hard, but i was always noticing patterns of it in movies. to me, masculinity are patterns of existence and choice, that are ascribed to men specifically for the function of the male gender, they are certain things, certain concepts that support the function of the male gender.
