Too extreme ,isn't it?

That's for the heads up.

I'm scared of losing that one, because it's interesting

Sorry

This is considered a hate group. When other mens rights groups with too extreme views closed, the men from them toppled into here and gave it a bad rep. There's literally no space to discuss men's rights openly

You get a say in this

I know. The women get a bit heated on here. I think it should become a men's only sub

Men go their own way

Yeah I worked for men's rights as a job in the past too (paid) - so I'm not disagreeing with you - women working front line should technically be able to be vocal, however in my experience this group won't allow it. Views on here vary wildly - if you want to start arguing with all the guys on here then it's probably not the group for you

This sub allows women - mens lib I think allows women to read only (no posting). There's a bit of hostility on here (guys who've gone through hell) but in general l find the men here pretty decent tbh. Actually some really nice guys who are in my more mundane hobby subreddits too. The purple pill debate subreddit is the only time I've backed out - just too wild for me. Some of the MGTOW are hostile and I think it's not so much that women aren't allowed to join in, but the men want the men's voic…

He's home - got to take accountability. I literally had turned it all into his fault and that's why I'm on this sub-reddit. So yeah, thank you actually.
/r/MensRights16/05/25 09:50 AM

Thank you for your reply. Another guy earlier set me straight on this, I'm an egalitarian, not a feminist. Anyway, I'm in support of your cause which is rare for women
/r/MensRights16/05/25 09:39 AM

I know. Literally in the middle of an argument with my husband and this is the reminder I need - I am accountable. It's SO easy to deflect onto a man - got to take accountability - thank you for reminding me

That's a much better term. Thanks for that explanation.

I know. I've noticed your're a part of a group I am on here - if you ever get a bad night I'm happy to PM
/r/MensRights14/05/25 03:37 PM

I'll never joined them. I'm bi, but when I went on these lesbian nights out they repulsed me by saying so badly about men.
/r/MensRights14/05/25 03:29 PM
1

Okay. Then what do you call me? I defend both rights and hope for both parties to get along. I was bought up thinking that a part of feminism was treating guys nicely as men are literally 1/2 of society

White, British. Although living in Japan where my husband is legally registered as head of household and has authority over me (also not okay). I'm not redefining feminism, it's about equality - British did better on this front than Americans - as another guy mentioned in this group - UK is a matriarchy. Therefore we're more comfortable talking through these issues. I'm not saying that this isn't a problem in the UK either - British guys will say it is - but I'm going to keep to what I was raise…

I'm a feminist - I'm usually just listening tbh because I'm interested in what you have to say and usually agreeing. A feminist means equal rights - so rights for men is included in that definition. That's literally why I'm here. I support men's rights because I'm a feminist.

It's always the NICE GUY. I'm 100% with you on this - the image is crazily wrong.

Ahhh, thank you for that explanation.

Ohhh,I meant why the gay men in the community minded. But yes, you're also right about most women automatically ruling out bi-guys. I'm a bit rare on that
/r/MensRights13/05/25 08:51 AM
7

May I ask why it is that btw? If you have any insight. I once secretly slept with a bi guy who didn't want the gay community to know he also likes women. So that's how I came to know about it.

"Seems like you also have a pretty defined type and are not that open for "any kind of man"." Yes, there's some type for alot of us - and someone that has few or no attributes is not attractive in either sex. But preferences can change, and there's more diversity in that than some people realise. I can't compromise on intelligence though, that's true. It's called 'sapiosexual'. "I am open to a lot of women who are similar." - that's interesting. If you marry your current girlfriend, I wish you t…

That's a good question, I think vulnerability. Tbh it's worth asking that question on its own thread. I remember one woman on another forum admitting her husband has NEVER seen her naked - because she only has sex in total darkness out of shame about her body.

Since you gave your bio - I've been in love 3 times, 3 husbands (so not a lot of time to sleep around sadly). First is a university lecturer (turned down his Oxford interview as Oxford is strange, but did an incredible career at a more normal university (although high level). Second is a doctor running his own hospital (also done lecturing). Third is my current husband - and he didn't do university but became even more successful than the first 2 husbands. Also has to do presentations and has ha…

As long as you get to experience love, and treat her with respect, that's all that matters. Aren't you married and settled with children at 41? Either way - thank you for your perspective - I enjoyed reading it
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/25 01:09 PM

No, but I've fallen in love or appreciated such a vast range of men that I don't think a lot of what is being said regarding dating is true. I think that dating apps, and women's application of dating apps is the problem as women are getting overly selective on non essential criteria.

I'll keep to that one mate - good luck on this front.

I've unjoined the group already. I don't like people who can't cope a reasoned argument - as a woman I'm on the men's rights group and getting along well there - says it all

Yes, new. I think I'll keep to my hobby subreddits which are less fucking weird

Everyone is so busy analysing the fuck out of dating, they forget about love. Maybe she's fat but keeps the lights on during sex and smiles? Maybe they enjoy eating the same foods together while chatting about the news? Maybe he gets home tired and hates cleaning, and she literally picks up his bag that he's just thrown on the floor. From the outside of my marriage I look the more emotionally unstable one, but my husband actually has hoarding disorder (he doesn't even throw trash, and I have to …

Yeah I get you. Part of the 'me too' movement included women being coerced into sex they didn't really want to do. This is a very nice example of men enduring coerced sex in silence. This sub-reddit is a genuine eye-opener for me.

Yeah - you were abused. I'm sorry
/r/MensRights07/05/25 02:10 PM

So that's your boundary. "I don't like sex during your period." You have to own your boundaries. My current husband is asian and culturally doesn't like. So we don't do. You have that right mate

Well I also have a personality disorder - although not diagnosed. So I can't say badly

ASPD is Antisocial personality disorder?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/25 01:39 PM

What is wrong with you? Being a normal guy, who just works a regular job can change it. The average woman doesn't want to marry a serial killer
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/25 01:33 PM

That's what my uni male friends said. I didn't say that out of respect for the above poster - who might feel pressured with that kind of rhetoric. If he really doesn't want to do, he doesn't need to do
/r/MensRights07/05/25 01:28 PM

Ah Jesus. You're 100% right and she's 100% wrong to coerce you. On a separate note, do you not have sex with women on their period? Ever? It's a very enjoyable time for women because of blood flow. If it's strongly off putting for you then that's fine, otherwise....

My husband was an incel. He's currently sitting in the bath I drew for him after eating the dinner I cooked for him, before having sex and sleeping. I can't describe him as boring or unremarkable - maybe other women would but I don't feel that way. Point is that incel is a temporary situation, and a difficult one to suffer - but it can change

I've had a few guys asking that - because of the equality of the sexes in the UK, it's actually taboo to ask a guy if we can have a child. I wanted 4 but I'm being more honest with you - a complete stranger than with my ex-husband. I remember a lot of baby centric stuff while we married, but a male friend got a woman pregnant and it sums it up nicely. and he ( my husband) acted like it was the most crazy, insane idea. Supporting a woman who doesn't want an abortion? Staying with her and helping …

First husband didn't know what he wanted - I checked his profile a year ago and seems equally confused (but a brilliant career so good on him). In the UK it can be taboo to ask a man if he'd like kids - so after 7 years living together I still have no idea if he wants children. Second husband was a doctor who has now opened his own clinic and seriously rich. He was the most controlling about money, so every receipt from 7-11 I kept and he checked. I should have added, yes, the second husband pro…

I MARRIED twice to guys who refused kids for any reason. First marriage was 25, second 31. I wanted 4 kids and clearly that's over. I was quick on the divorce at 34 and remarried at aged 35 - and now married with a beautiful baby. I'm quite angry that the first 2 guys married me but refused to let me become a mother,

Thank you for that succinct explanation.

I honestly think the dark triad are male traits - high neurotic behaviours look like narcissism, I think it's the female counterpart but there's some differences.
/r/MensRights04/05/25 04:27 PM

So am I - the person who you replied to. I do accept that women are less prone to take accountability for their actions, but not all of us.

I'm born and raised in the UK and definitely agree it's a matriarchy. I now live in Japan which is an actual patriarchy - it's got it's pros and cons

Yes, I agree with what you say - but this is my point. She entered an industry that promotes the objectification of women, profited from it and became a little well known because of it - hence being able to promote her book. The guy she was dating who took the nude photo was possibly a fan of hers who clearly only saw her as an object - same as the men she profited from. At no point did she say "I shouldn't have entered an industry that promotes the objectification of women - AND what the guys d…

She doesn't take any accountability for her actions, at all. She chose to enter an industry that objectifies women, then complains that she was objectified by the guys - if you do that kind of behaviour, you'll attract that kind of man. Why does she expect an apology?

The thing with rape is it's such a heinous crime that to be simply accused tarnishes the guys reputation. I doubt a guy would get jail for an accusation without evidence, but his rep is gone
/r/MensRights01/05/25 02:58 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
