That's not what I've been seeing, a 2019 Stanford survey put the number at almost 40 percent and rapidly rising. And that's from 2019, so who knows how much higher the number is today. That number also doesn't include people who have had relationships with people they've met online, or are actively dating, casually dating, or hooking up with people they've met online. https://assets.weforum.org/editor/cThcGJ4N-hmm4MVhlK_SWjEym1NrefUKrsYBolyIRio.png

You will see an ever increasing effort by tech and media conglomerates to keep the lonely, single man in check from going off the deep end. Just curious, how old are you? I met my gf before dating apps existed and I know for sure that we never would have matched online.

I interact with a fair amount of teenagers and young adults in my job, from what I'm seeing so far: More burgers, as in Asperger's. More angry, bitter, jaded men who become radicalized. More looksmaxxing and simping from men. More fat/trans acceptance as guys become more desperate to find anyone who'll give them attention. Women becoming much more superficial than men are.

JBW still is an option at least for most white guys living in the West. If you're a comparable ethnic guy though...

Lol of course the average woman in 2022 will say that the dating market is fine. If the shoe were on the other foot I'm sure the average man would be thrilled at the way things are going.

As long as smartphones and tablets exist and screentime only become more accessible and addictive to an increasingly younger audience I don't see any way that dating apps don't become the de facto norm for meeting people.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
