You realize the shop owner there is breaking the law right. So after getting his ass kicked, that lady can sue and she would win. Because the video doesn't show her taking stuff, there is no proof in that video that she took anything. It starts off with her pulling at her purse. Any judge in the US would give her that case without a second thought.

That extra makes it worse. As the shop owner, he is supposed to know that it's against the law to physically stop a customer. If she tries to sue, she will win. Every judge in the US won't hesitate to give her the win on this one. As a shop owner in the US you can't touch your customers at all. All you did was support my statement that this guy fucked up.

I agree, there is no reasons to hit someone not posing a threat. Those guys were in the wrong. But once again, all of this would have been avoided had he not tried to physically prevent her from shoplifting. It's fucked up, it's wrong on all counts that he got assaulted and those folks should get in trouble for that. But realistically, he set himself up for it.

That's the thing though, to these strange men on the street it looked just like an assault on this lady. I'm not saying it's okay what they did and what happened, but it could have all been avoided if that dude had not tried to physically stop her.

Well, the correct response is to ask an employee to deal with it. Since he isn't an employee of the store, he has no right to touch that lady. And even if he was an employee of the store, they too are not allowed to physically touch a customer. Sure it sucks, but there isn't a case in this, and dude got what was coming to him. Thank you for your answer. While I cannot support it, I do appreciate the analogy. I feel like this is an incredible double standard, almost to a point of disgust only because it refers to men as a tool and woman as an object. Concluding that one is better than the other with over use, and its okay to push the over all use of said tool.

He want's full costody, unfortunately when you don't own your own living space you can't have possession of your kid. 3/4 of his checks go to his kids because of the law so he can't get his own house. He isn't abandoning his child.
