I have quite a hard time believing that the mystical influences men more than the sociocultural.

The most common rape drug has been known to be alcohol for quite a long time.but whether a woman is too incapacitated on alcohol or roofies (floories? Lulz) doesn't make a difference in whether she was raped or not.

Perhaps instead of basing your view of Kimmel on a blog, you should create your own opinion by actually reading some of his work. "Guyland" is one of the many works by Kimmel, and his book "Manhood in America" is actually the reading that helped me open up my view of Feminism away from the "for women, all about women" view of Feminism that many Feminists hold. I am posting in this subreddit to counteract the idea floating around in this subreddit that male perpetrators of sexual abuse/violence never have their names released. And I didn't say that I'm not outraged that the female child molester's name wasn't released.

It is outright wrong to say that only female rapists/child molesters' names are kept secret and male perpetrators of the same caliber are named.Has anyone heard about the case of the notre dame football player sexually assaulting the st marys college woman who then committed suicide? Not only did we not find out about it until three months later, the player wasn't even benched. Just to remind you, he is a man.a man with a whole lot of privilege as well.

Factory, have you heard of Michael Kimmel? Before you make the decision that Feminism is anti-male, you may want to read some of his work. There have been (and still are) many male feminists.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
