I’m going through something similar. Not with the kids, they are available to me, but with the cheating / affair, and leaving me. It’s all new to me and VERY raw. Going through this exact same thing.. All the same feelings. 7 year marriage. She was having a year long affair with her boss (or bosses boss until he got her reporting directly to him if that isn’t sick enough..). We have 2 kids.. I walk in a circle mentally every day. But what about when they cheated on you ? How do you do it ? I’ve got a kids birthday coming up, the first since our separation and headed to divorce and she wanted us to all get together for dinner and cake.. Would my soon to be 7 year old like it ? Yes. But like how the fuck do I do that ? Go to her new place where she shacks up every other weekend while I provide free baby sitting service and have a meal and cake ?? Why is it I have to take the high road ??

You’re not alone buddy. Going through similar thing. Much love to you and stay strong. Easier said than done but everyday think about what you have done to help yourself move forward and do at least 1 thing.. even if that one thing is just for yourself.. do it. Peace and better feelings are in the future for both of us. ❤️✊
