I would consider a 20 year old banging a 16 year old pretty weird. And the younger people are, the more age compresses (5 years is a bigger part of a 6 year old's life than an 80 year old's life) and the bigger of an "age" difference 4 years makes, especially when you look at how much mental/emotional development occurs during puberty/adolescence. By that logic, I'd say an 18 year old having sex with a 14 year old is pretty weird.

Give me one piece of verifiable evidence EDIT: Also, how am I a shill? Nowhere did I say that I was a sub here or anything to act as though I was. Or is no one who hasn't been subbed here for 2 plus years allowed to comment (incidently I actually have, I just stopped reading and commenting because it got pretty reptitive and never bothered to unsub, thats how I came across this post in the first place) if you disagree with them?

You're right about that. However, I think there is more the overarching message that trying to belittle the necessity of gender-cooperation doesn't work. I think it is a very poignant message for many who spout the ideals that all men should die or that there should be completely men free spaces and fields (Not that I believe every female dominated area would regress to this level without men of course).

I think what Wargame4life is saying is that its not about video games, its about the implications. She is willfully ignorant of a topic in order to garner political favor. While it doesn't mean she will react in that same way to other topics, I would much rather vote for someone who I have no baseline for than someone who I know will ride along with ignorance and sensationalism as long as it keeps them in power.

Yes, feminism was a good thing when it was created because at the time women were heavily discriminated against and lived as second class citizens. Maybe when there are homeless shelters for everyone. At the moment though it is a majority for women and often many have policies about turning men away to make the women feel "safe". While something like this addresses an immediate problem it could also be a catalyst for change. I'm sure lots of people are asking "Why do we need a men's only shelter" and they can be told about the sorry state of homeless care where the majority of funding and focus goes to the minority.

Why ask what we believe in if literally every time someone lists a fact or statistic showing the plight of men you're just gonna say "Naw dude, its not that bad. Women have it worse, dude."
