I appreciate it. My divorce experience has actually been way different than a lot of stories I've read. I should probably start doing seminars for dudes, both my divorces together cost me a grand total of $1800 and have been relatively painless.

Yeah. We dated even younger, then split when I entered the service and went our own ways, then years later wound up getting back in touch and later married.

Fuck man I'm so glad I don't date anymore. This was the worst. Edited to clarify: married my post-college, pre-Army sweetheart and it's been amazing ever since. And yes I have two stepkids, and they're great and that's fine, plus she gave me my own son that I wasn't supposed to have, and he's amazing. And the good news is we all love each other like a family. It can be done. And for full context, for my part this was after two divorces and 8.5 years in the service, with a lot of warzone time. I …

I'd call MODS on this one based on the opening paragraphs.

I feel like I'm both moral and a degenerate, and am ok with both.

To be fair, if I could just lay around all day playing video games and make a living selling pictures of my dick, I'd probably do that. And I'd probably want a girlfriend. I've just never found that to be a viable course of thought as a male, so I have a job, a marriage, kids, and I play video games/engage in hobbies when I have time. Like a responsible person. That being said, I probably started this entire reply because I've been at home/out of work due to the virus. And playing more games. Bu…

I stopped at "I'm Israeli". I have nothing against Israelites or Jewish people, I'm not any sort of supremacist or anything, but I did a tour of Israel a few years back and they came across as the rudest people I've ever encountered in the Middle East. And I was part of the invasion force for Operation Iraqi Freedom for context. I just know that I absolutely don't have it in me to be in a relationship with an Israeli woman; I'm too self-centered.

Basically being at the very fundamental of a concept/way of life and true to your methods, I believe. It can be pejorative or complimentary in nature, depending on context ("You like Starbucks, that makes you a basic bitch" versus "this guy gets it, flipping the argument within the same context is an admirable way to counter someone's point of view and help them understand their own biases, and is based af"). I could be wrong. Please correct me, someone, if I am.

Jesus dude, it was meant as a joke. Settle down. I honestly didn't mean to set anyone off, was just trying to add some levity.

As a married father who has been familiar with his wife's nethers both before and after the birth, I can 100% attest that this is, in fact, true. That being said, she did have a caesarian section.

I'm always fascinated by these arbitrary standards, though when I was dating online off and on years ago I respected them; I never saw someone online that I thought was so amazing that I needed to try to talk them into breaking their own rules to meet me. I think on some level that would fuck up the balance and I'd subconsciously be indebted to them, at least in their mind. I'm curious if there is a place to post your life's/relationship trajectory and get the group's take. I'd be curious what y…

Single mom playing the single mom card to get a tattoo discount? I dunno, I may be wrong but thematically it seemed appropriate.

Her grammar isn't the best but I don't see the normal red flags and, call me old fashioned...if you ask someone out, you should pay unless going Dutch is understood beforehand. And she has a solid if misplaced goal of home ownership. I dunno, this seems pretty harmless to me. Feel free to correct my perspective.
