"I laughed when I heard him scream"That's so freaking sick. Laughing at the poor boy. The only time a foreskin should be removed is if there's a medical concern or infection. Even then that's still a iffy reason. | /r/MensRights | 02/04/14 08:26 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantOur close friends find it funny too. We've had a friend come over a few times while I've been pregnant. He would sit there laughing at the playful bitching we do. | /r/MensRights | 02/04/14 06:17 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantI'm seeing a professional to help me with the neglect from my parents. Also I don't really care what they have, there's no excuse as to how they both treated me. I still talk to my Mother, and her reaction when I said I have said issues AND I'm dyslexic, did not impress me in the slightest. I've learnt from her mistakes, and wont be letting anything like what happened to me happen to him. | /r/MensRights | 02/04/14 06:15 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantIf I was having an issue with the way my husband was treating me I wouldn't be posting in a Mens Rights forum. The rant was and is about how I'm sick of how people treat men during a pregnancy. Yes women have it hard. But men can have it just as hard. | /r/MensRights | 02/04/14 03:08 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantOh my god. I'd feel so awful if he had to do that much. Your an amazing man yourself! I tell him I would like to be pampered, but I also tell him it would make me feel uncomfortable because 1) I'm not used to it. And 2) that's not him. | /r/MensRights | 02/04/14 01:46 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantThat's not selfish at all. You're the father, you have rights. Men do care for their child. And I'm so sorry you felt like that. | /r/MensRights | 02/04/14 01:40 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantI'm very happy. And I think his preggo pet name for me Fat-a-Lump sounds cute. | /r/MensRights | 02/04/14 01:37 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantHe knows I have my limits. He's yet to reach my limit. We both like to throw around hypotheticals about stuff, and a few weeks I ago I asked him to drop the subject because it was making it upset. He felt so guilty and horrible that he gave me a hug and a kiss in public. Something he's not comfortable with. We both lost our fathers at a young-ish age, divorce my end and his father had a fall due to drinking and needed brain surgery that resulted in him being a different man. We both want our son… | /r/MensRights | 02/04/14 01:36 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantThe only time a baby should't live after its been born is if it's dying already. | /r/MensRights | 02/04/14 01:28 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantWe've been so lucky. My hormones haven't changed at all. And I hated the diabetes test... I can't stand anything with too much sugar in it now, I was so sick at the end of the test. At least the diabetes clears up once the pregnancy is over! | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 01:01 PM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantOnly a few weeks ago did I have an appointment with some therapists at the Hospital. We both told them they help they are offering now is useless, and needed it much earlier. Even then they only offered me the help. | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 12:55 PM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantSadly I'm in Australia. We can't easily start a court case for something like that. | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 12:51 PM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantSadly I'm all the way down in Hobart :( But it's nice to see some Hospitals around the country including men! | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 12:48 PM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantHow freaking are you, you completely took my quote out of context! If you manged to read my rant you would see that I sit on my fat ass all day because I'm too sick to really do much around the house. Yes I do have self image problems, his knows this I know this. But you're missing the whole point of the rant. You're just like the other people who tell me I'm in a bad relationship. You see and hear things you want to see. I'm sorry I'm a rare breed of woman that can take a joke from her husband. | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 12:46 PM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantI dated a guy that woke me up throughout the night to tell me he loved me. Yet did nothing to show me he truly loved me. | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 12:35 PM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantIt's a bit late now. I'm due at the end of the month... But I guess to some people it's never too late lol. | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 12:33 PM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantExactly! He's a very caring person and would never do anything to hurt me. His outlet is jokes, when he's depressed he needs something funny to make himself feel better. He knows me well enough to know I don't find any harm in his jokes. And he has always told me "When I stop making jokes, you need to worry" | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 12:12 PM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantI'm sorry you don't understand. But he's not verbally abusing me in any way shape or form. Our relationship is fun and full of jokes. Yes I can see how him calling me fat would upset people. But I don't mind and when he makes the jokes I laugh with him, I enjoy the jokes the two of us throw back and forth. We love each other enough to know our limits, and he is yet to reach mine. | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 12:07 PM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantIf and when the staff at the Hospital ask me it's just a simple. "Is anything wrong between you and your husband?" | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 11:52 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantAt the hospital where I'm going for my appointments, it has mostly posters aimed at women. There's only one... one freaking poster out of the 50+ for men and their child. And even then it's only for spending an hour with your son or daughter with other fathers at a craft thing. Like I said to someone else, once I'm better and our son is here I'll be asking around as to why there's little to nothing for men and becoming a father. Awesome. If you find the name of the book I'll tell my Husband and … | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 11:27 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantFirst time and single fathers. Some men are left to look after their child by themselves. It could be the mother wants nothing to do with the child or the mother passed away. I've seen, read and heard stories of how single fathers have been treated, and it's disgusting. One example is, in the city I live in a single father took his daughter into a changing room to use the toilet. Women in the room flipped out and demanded he be charged as a sex offender for using a women only room. Men have to s… | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 11:12 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantOh wow I didn't expect to have someone try to submit this to anything. Thank you for trying :) | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 11:00 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantEven before I was pregnant we made similar jokes. He would ask for me to get something and I'll start overreacting with bitching and moaning about how I have to do everything, while I'm getting what he asked for. And he'll do the same. There's the odd occasion when the joke goes too far, but if I till him it's making me upset or uncomfortable he'll apologize and stop. | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 10:48 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantIf we're walking down the street I'll call out to him to slow down and he'll reply smiling with "Come on my little Fat-a-lump". If I'm making noises because I'm in pain or uncomfortable and people ask if I'm okay he'll quickly say "She's just being fat" again with a smile. And each time I laugh. Sometimes I'll look at him and say seriously "You going to carry me?" and we both erupt into laughter. We rip on each other all the time. The people that know us don't worry about how we act. It's just s… | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 10:07 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantThank you. But just like him I worry :) | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 09:46 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantIf I was your mother I would have started to call you my little Pumpkin! I make fun of myself all the time too. I'm freaking huge! Belly and body flab wise. He usually calls me his Fat-a-lump. | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 09:45 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantI have something called Hyperemesis Garvidrum , it's not as bad as it was before, but I'm still pretty weak and I run out of energy fast. In the beginning, even with the meds I was given some days I was too weak to even feed myself. He would sit next to me on the bed and help me eat. And everyday he would wash me in the shower. Again I'm much better now, but still weak from the whole thing and still have some symptoms. | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 09:39 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantHe's not ashamed to cry so she shouldn't be too frightened about asking for advice. He cries every time we watch How to Train Your Dragon. Thank you! Thankfully we're having a boy. | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 08:30 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantWe'll both be fine. I'm expecting him to be a wonderful father... as long as he treats our son like the cats lol. We rarely have any issues and when we do we always mange to talk it out. I'm trying to get him to join reddit, but he's not really one for social things, in person or online. But I'll bring up reddit again. | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 08:15 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantBecause my due date is getting closer he's getting worse. But I give him his own space. And keep asking him if he needs to get anything off his chest he can. Last night I told him he's having a worse time then me. He sighed with relief and said "I'm so glad you finally said that. I was worried if I said anything about it you'd get angry". I've made a mental note that once our Son is here I'll be trying to find out why the men are left behind before/during and after the pregnancy. | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 08:02 AM
"Don't be stupid. He needs to treat you better!" - My Husband being branded as a 'horrible' man for being himself... RantI know. But our health system in Australia means I don't have to see them again. I just get someone new. Annoying, but saves putting up with the same person again. | /r/MensRights | 01/04/14 07:46 AM
