And a lot of the ideas in are actually superior at achieving consensual and mutually desired sex than anything feminists can suggest. The PUA community bases it's tenets on evolutionary psychology Actually, PUAs have somewhat selective interpretations of popular books on evolutionary psychology. PUAs are nowhere near as wrong as feminists about the science, but they aren't quite right about it, either. The conceptualization of male attractiveness in pickup is too focus on the vague notion of "alpha", and social status and dominance.
