Glad I could help. And the 'their loss' mindset is a great one to go through life. :)

The period seems appropriate. This will pass the 'too soon' stage and in case, he likes you too but has some mental blocks, they might get cleared by then. Only suggestion is that just try and be totally acceptable of the way he's behaving with you (what I mean is let him take his time). This will make him more comfortable with you. If anytime you feel impatient because of his (dis)interest, try and calm down by reminding yourself that it's just till the end of summer for you to get the result. …

Lol. Probably he's not that active. Better to have the exclusive discussion. In case it seems too soon, you can set a date for yourself as the waiting period. See till then and have the discussion after it.

Your thought process is good.. You should talk to him. Regarding him not texting you.. maybe he doesn't like talking over texts. Does he seem good over phone calls?

You've stuck around too long then

This should not limit the people you can like in your lifetime. Don't take it to the heart.. it's just a frequency mismatch. Good that you know now rather than knowing after investing a year on them. Better because now you can go out, meet more people and connect with someone who likes you just as you do.

Good enough in my opinion. Still, I think you should gauge a little more.. see if they're letting you in to their personal space.. while telling you something are they using phrases like - 'this is a secret', 'not many people know about this' or are they sharing important or daily details with you or also maybe talking about their friends to you or talking to their friends about you. My point for the above exercise is that before you ask them, you need to set up an environment and comfort for th…

Ohhh.. meanwhile has your connection with them strengthened or weakened during the COVID?

You can write it in a piece of paper and hand them. Ask them to open it when you're not around. Some people find handwritten notes cute.

The solution is simple.. express that you like them and ask if they too like you. If they refuse, don't take it to heart.. don't ask for reasons. Just move on thinking that (s)he has nothing against you.. it's just a frequency mismatch.

Well said Robin. In addition to it, one must approach with a mindset to know what is likable in the other person and see if (s)he fits your expectations rather than trying to sell onself.

That's good initially.. but you need to know when to move on.

The situation that you're talking about is a common one in my country. What I believe is that just like you appreciate living with your parents, some girl might do that too and won't mind this whole situation. But you'll get to meet her only if you keep trying. Don't take these rejections to heart.. just think of it as a frequency mismatch and move on. P.S. - Please ignore the above response if you're not looking for a serious/long-term relationship.

Now that you've been talking to her for more than a month, I would recommend you to compliment about her as a person than her aesthetic features (like eyes, hair, cuteness). Reason being.. if she's that cute/good looking, she must be getting the aesthetic flirts a lot. You need to stand out of those guys. Compliment whatever you like.. her thought process or values or sense of humour or smartness or creativity. More important, support your compliment with an example.. like ''your so and so video…

Try to escalate sexually a bit. Make it step by step. Make a sexual flirt.. if she takes it positively.. good.. else take a step back and make a less bold flirt. This way you'll know her interest in you. Other than that, Just keep continuing with what you're doing.. sharing memes/videos/media whatever. You can start playing online games (say, UNO) with her too to continue the interest in the long run.

I am no 'guru' but I think you got the point wrong. You don't have to change your personality fitting in all the prerequisites, rather, you need to fit those prerequisites into your personality in the best possible way. You shouldn't be here for the short term goals but for the long haul. For that, you need to have your seduction techniques in sync with your personality.

He says in his book 'The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck' that he studied and tried pickup techniques for years before he met his wife.

This is kind of covered under 'sucking at communication'. Most people can't communicate properly because they judge their statement themselves rather than boldly saying it.

I generally wait till I have some time on my hands, so that, in case we hit it off, I don't have to leave midway. Talking about something common to both of you generally helps. Say, if you study in the same college/school, you can talk about it as an icebreaker.
