1	Loving yourself isn't vanity, it's sanity Queens! The anime did a pretty bad job on the Mamoru/Usagi relationship - primarily due to most of the writers being men. The manga is much better; Naoko does a good job of progressing their relationship, Usagi isn’t as clingy/immature and Mamoru doesn’t come off as aloof. He’s kidnapped due to his importantness to Usagi, but he’s the opposite of a NVM/LVM. He risks his life (and dies for her) multiple times and prioritizes Usagi’s needs over his.
