In these instances, it's not about the value of the man as a sexual/social/dating/etc. partner, it's about the very concrete value of money. Wanted to throw this idea by you.My opinion is that movie dates aren't the best for the relationship because the film distracts her attention from you and eats your time and money. Say she's only got four hours to spend with you - you want that to be at the movies? You could have already gotten her into your bed in that amount of time. Also, it's not memorable.
