Well unfortunately the courts fave a very old fashioned view of the family. That mother is the nurturer and dad is the financial provider. Missed work because my amazing dad who raised me had a heart attack and died. Had to cancel the family trip to Disneyland which was planned for the following week to get back to work. Yes, we've all heard from multiple mom's how they've got the toughest job in the world.... I already knew it was BS. But then I got sole custody of my three boys when they were babies and I realized that I was right. It is incredibly easy to raise good quality kids full time without any help all while working full time at a real job.
