There's nothing quite as authentic as honestly and completely sharing your sexual histories with each other.

If you want to live in fantasy land and think that being fatter as a woman is helping your chances of finding "HVM," then by all means go ahead. I'm just here to explain the reality of the situation to you, whether or not you're willing to accept it.

I'm just somebody who's able to look at collective trends to make unbiased observations without my personal insecurities getting in the way of the argument. This doesn't seem like something you're capable of though.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/20 07:46 AM

I'm not projecting my personal insecurities like you are. You're making the assumption that I'm even attracted to women in the first place. I'm simply explaining why fatter women are objectively not as attractive to men.

I'm not even bashing Kanye from a personal level (I have no issue with him), I'm identifying the fickle nature of women. Women will tear egomaniac guys with bipolar disorder apart when it fits their narrative of weeding out "LVM." But now that the narrative of fat-acceptance comes up, Kanye is a "HVM" for marrying a fatter woman. Yeah, G-Eazy the guy who has a history with drugs and cheating on his past partners is now suddenly fitting the narrative of "HVM" when convenient. Not to mention, I ju…

I don't understand what you're asking. SMV for men is determined by their physical appearance, most importantly, and their societal status.

Yup, I do agree with that statement. At the end of the day, this seems to serve as a coping mechanism for women to continue being overweight.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/20 05:39 AM

I literally said top 20%. Is that "super high" to you? If we want to talk about "super high" SMV men (top 1%), then we can. Those are the guys who can actually "slay"—frequent "casual sex" with minimal commitment with a large variety of women.

No, because most beta providers get barely any action during their formative years (due to not being attractive enough), and only start being on the table later in life after they've established their career and made money. Meanwhile, his prospective wife was getting consistently piped from the age of ~16.3 right up until she finally "settles down" with her beta provider.

I should have said from the start that "her being a higher BMI is not objectively increasing her sex appeal, and that the optimal female BMI (<centerline) is lower than the optimal male BMI (>centerline)." By the way, even slightly overweight men can have more appeal than slightly overweight women, if they have enough muscle mass. There are even objectively obese men (by BMI standards) who would still have more appeal than women of the same BMI due to extreme amounts of muscle mass (through gear…

Ok so you agree with me that women can get away with higher bmis and been seen as attractive by people more easily then men? Only because there are particular groups of men who find fatter women attractive (or are not as repulsed by them as other men)—most of these men are sexually desperate though, and if they had more options would not be choosing really fat women. I have been saying this since the start of the conversation. Women do not fill "fat men" niches because women don't actually fill …

I'm literally suggesting that the fatter a woman is, the more likely she is to fill a niche in terms of sexual preference. There's a reason "chubby chasers" earn their title—most guys see them as desperate losers (but that's their "preference," after all). on this reddit there are countless subreddits dedicated to lusting after thick or bigger women Yes, and do you realize how many niche fetish communities there are? Bimbos, jailbait, feet, bodybuilders...the list goes on and on. Men fill all of…

From anecdotal observation, the autistic debates on the looks forums over "ideal female physique" frequently end with Barbara Palvin having the most universal appeal (having nothing to do with culture). She sits within the 18.5-21.75 BMI range and is probably ~20% BF (consistently through her modeling career, probably). She has good fat distribution, wide hips, but does not have a huge bust (shocking—bust size is not that important). The highest BF% example I can think of without starting to be …

A guy can have both high SMV and high RMV, which can help mitigate the amount of "beta providance" required. You put words in my mouth by assuming I was drawing black and white lines between casual sex and monogamy.

Being a low priority settle for an older woman with an extensive sexual past (with both emotional and physical baggage), and essentially functioning as an ATM is not ideal for any man.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/20 07:39 PM

You're putting words in my mouth. Simply being attractive to women (without being a beta provider) is ideal, regardless of the actual relationship (or sex) model.

Not sure what that has to do with them being attractive or not, attractive women end up with shitty men all the time, and Megan wasn't dating the guy who shot her. Feel free to pick some better examples who actually attract "HVM" then (hint: they probably aren't going to be above centerline BMI). I just found it funny how you decided to pick those two individuals. Most of it goes to their hip area: And past a certain point (~20% BF), the amount of fat in the hip area is not providing any net ben…

Top 20% in SMV puts men in a range for possibly achieving sex strictly based on their SMV. Most of the bottom 80% of men in SMV can achieve sex, but they are almost inherently dependent on their RMV (being a beta provider, in other words), which comes with many unfavorable caveats. That being said, even top 20% SMV is not necessarily going to give men a highly favorable sex life. I think that some bottom 80% men lose hope altogether, with no incentive to improve to the top 20% (if even possible)…

So the men that find Kim Kardashian attractive are desperate losers? Because according the bmi scale is she is considered slightly overweight, same with Megan Thee Stallion. Last time I checked, diaper-ass Kim was married to a bipolar egomaniac, and Megan was getting shot in the foot by her fling. Speaking in FDS terms (which you seem to be familiar with), these types of women are not exactly attracting "HVM." Fat looks differently on women then on men, more fat goes to our hip, butt and breasts…

In no way was I suggesting that men and women are both optimized at the same BF%. That would be absurd. I can guarantee you that none of the examples you listed are sitting at 20% BF. A good BF% for men is ~13%, while ~20% is good for women. can get away with having a slightly higher bmi on average then men and be seen as attractive. No, this is not the case at all. An attractive, "healthy" range for women is between 18.5 and 21.75 (centerline). For men, it's between 21.75 and 25. Men have the a…

Actually, I think its opposite, women can have a higher bmi, and be seen as attractive No, they can't. But they still exist in a niche that will be filled by desperate losers. The end-all to this discussion is that being fat is never objectively attractive, for either sex. Seeing fatties coping by saying otherwise is cringeworthy.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/20 06:17 PM

The broader issue is of of trp not connecting the issue of male obesity to whole host of problems that effect modern men, and instead largely blame hypergamy, feminist, and women for everything. I constantly see RP discussions telling guys to get in shape as the #1 priority. Even on more blackpilled forums (like looksmax), guys get roasted for being fatties (even just 16%+ BF). Fat acceptance doesn't exactly exist for men, because men aren't stupid enough to bullshit each other like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/20 06:05 PM
35

why isn't obesity not brought up more as a reason for why some men have issues with their sex lives and dating? Are you saying that this isn't brought up constantly? It's common sense that being fat is horrible for dating, sex, and health in general. It's mostly only fat women who try to squeal, squirm, and cope about that. Being fat as a man is a disgrace, and there's no "political correctness" about it.

This soldier over here, who murdered my husband and brothers. No. From an evolutionary perspective, if this happened to you then you were becoming a "war bride" whether or not you wanted to. The reality is that females evolved to mentally handle these types of situations efficiently (they were not rare by any means).
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/20 01:01 PM

white men are objectively more attractive when diversity/exposure allows women to compare That's hypergamy in action.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/20 12:57 PM

I wasn't necessarily linking that for the promiscuity part, rather how women deal with intrasexual competition.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/20 12:52 PM
3

The argument is that female hypergamy significantly limits what they're actually attracted to, whereas men are more likely to fill all available niches (and be content in doing so). Just because she ends up "settling down" with her inevitable beta provider does not mean she's actually attracted to him.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/20 12:41 PM

Yup. This post describes how women handle competition pretty well. https://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/j8wqdf/promiscuous_women_are_more_incompetent_cold_and/ If guys have an issue with each other, they're more likely to fight it out and get it over with quickly. And the fighting is rarely directly initiated by differences in attractiveness.

I'm not misinterpreting and I mostly agree with you. This doesnt mean that 54% of women like being harrassed, just in certain situations that 54% might find it more enjoyable because x, y and z. Finding it more enjoyable because of XYZ means that she finds it more enjoyable than the other 46% overall, who do not at all. The fact that some forms of sexual-harassment could be enjoyable does not mean that sexual-harassment is something that is generally enjoyable. I didn't say it is, nor did the study. What is the need for anyone to be sexually harassed especially strangers?? There isn't, but it happens and 54% of women potentially find certain forms of sexual harassment enjoyable, according to the study. There seems to be a lack of recognition of this though, as you seem to be revealing.

I agree that the level of threat is important. But using that logic, we now have to admit that older, unattractive men of a different r are more threatening when sexually harassing than young, attractive men of the same r when sexually harassing, according to women (as per the study). Your argument here is like saying rape is okay because women desire and even enjoy sex with men they are attracted to and who they consented to have sex with. No, that isn't what I'm arguing. The correct comparison…

You would think that no women would find sexual harassment remotely enjoyable then, but apparently 54% can if the conditions are right, according to this study.

And this study is suggesting that if any of the men in those situations were very attractive to you, you might have enjoyed it. After all, you are agreeing with that by responding as you did to the parent commenter.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/20 12:28 AM
2

Then why are you yourself arguing that: for nearly three-quarters of women - the experience of harassment is not “enjoyable,” even with a male model doing the harassing Nowhere is that mentioned in the study. The data does not even support that. You are arguing against me literally citing exact data values to you yet you are arguing something that is not even remotely shown by the data.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/20 12:26 AM

Are you blind? The data I'm referencing is right there on the table.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/20 12:08 AM

Duh, the whole point of the survey was for potential increased enjoyment. The survey literally asks participants to respond to cases of sexual harassment. Nothing in the sample indicates flirtation to participants. Are you normally this dense, or has this study triggered you to the point of pure stupidity? It's as if you haven't read more than 10 words of the post/study.

It's not just "less bothersome," it's flat out more enjoyable to 54% of women, according to this study. 54% of women can find sexual harassment (even possibly forms of sexual assault, as the study mentions) enjoyable. News at 11.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/20 11:51 PM

With that logic, they may have also failed to indicate all of the options which make the sexual harassment attractive to them. Let's argue with common sense here and assume participants actually followed the relatively short (16 options lol) survey's instructions.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/20 11:38 PM

Imagine being accused of sexual harassment for the exact same actions another man committed because she actually enjoyed his harassment due to him being attractive. 54% of women admitted through this survey the same form of sexual harassment can be enjoyable or traumatic depending on outside conditions.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/20 11:32 PM

We know that if the participants completed the survey, 54% of them selected at least one of the above options for increased enjoyment of sexual harassment. Only 46% did not receive increased enjoyment from the aforementioned options.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/20 11:25 PM

It’s hazardous to allow for the subjective, internal feelings of a person to determine the legality (etc) of an action. Especially when 54% of women are reporting factor(s) which can increase their enjoyment of sexual harassment, which the original commenter is repeatedly failing to recognize in this thread.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/20 11:23 PM

Only 46% of participants found none of the conditions on this table to increase their enjoyment of sexual harassment. You need to read the entire study since you are misrepresenting its results in your comment. https://i.imgur.com/4bYERyn.png

That means - for nearly three-quarters of women - the experience of harassment is not “enjoyable,” even with a male model doing the harassing That is not even close to what the study says. We have endocrine systems that are far more complex than being driven by a single hormone-dominance. Estrogen deficiency in men can result in a lesser libido, among other issues. Yes, as I explained: "Estrogen regulates libido in the sense that it facilitates human attraction and interactions in general." Estrogen-deficient men experience a loss in libido due to a lack of desire to associate with woman (humans, in general), regardless of sexual intent. I'm not doubting that testosterone makes me…

As I explained, testosterone is the "driving" hormone in a "sex drive." Estrogen regulates libido in the sense that it facilitates human attraction and interactions in general. There is a reason that women tend to be more associative and group-oriented than men, whereas men are sexually-impulsive. Women evolved to avoid sexually-submitting to men who were unlikely to adequately provide for her. Eggs/pregnancy are far too expensive to risk impregnation by a man who would provide nothing but sperm…

It’s ok I know you can’t accept that some women just want sex for the hell of it I would accept that if it was the case, but it isn't. You have an estrogen-dominant hormonal profile. You do not have anywhere near the level of sex drive (facilitated by male levels of testosterone) to pursue sex as an end goal, as you are admitting yourself (but you didn't even need to). This has nothing to do with reading what you're writing, it has to do with understanding sexual dynamics. You are significantly more concerned about the implications after sex (being "respected"—the implication of being supported by the man) than the actual sex i…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/20 09:17 AM

The amount of "I"s you're using is making it hard to believe this isn't about you. That's irrelevant though because, as a woman, you're simply describing the female implications of "casual sex." There's a reason men are not concerning themselves over being "disrespected" after casual sex...they're not attempting to form an emotional connection.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/20 09:09 AM

men who you want to have raunchy casual sex with. It's important to note that she wants the man's providance far more than the actual raunchy "casual sex." The "casual sex" is simply the result of her not being able to maintain his interest after the sex (typically because she's too "sexually easy," as mentioned—the reason for her being disrespected).
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/20 09:03 AM
1

You do want some form of a relationship. As I said, if sex was the end goal for you (like it is for men) then you would not be inhibited by your concerns of treatment afterward. You clearly expect some level of emotional support, which is why you have qualms about not receiving respect from your sexual partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/20 08:56 AM

Now I don’t want a new relationship but I do want regular casual sex. The thing that’s stopping me is the fact men treat women who they’ve casually slept with like crap. These two sentences together fit the narrative that women do not have a biological drive for "casual sex." You do not have the same androgenic drive that leads you into sex for the explicit purpose of sex. If you did (like men) then you wouldn't be stopped by how men treat you afterward, because you would have already achieved t…

I'm not understanding what you're saying. Mate selection based on female promiscuity is important for paternity certainty. Males evolved to dedicate their energy and resources toward females with less risk of paternity uncertainty. This is a characteristic observed in many species, not just humans.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/20 12:28 AM
6

Worth mentioning, it also affects women's views on promiscuity as well. That is not surprising either, given that American women likely have more financial freedom than women in other countries, and are therefore less likely to face negative consequences for their sexual promiscuity. However, this American study conducted in 2018 would indicate that when directly asked to describe a sexually promiscuous woman (not just broadly speaking in terms of sexual promiscuity), women were far less accepti…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/20 12:01 AM

Women who are financially-independent have little pressure to rely on a male partner for his providance. For these financially-independent women, their sexual promiscuity is far less likely to negatively affect life because they have far less pressure to maintain a successful sexual-relationship with a man. Modern divorce rates in areas with proportionally higher financially-independent women would reflect this phenomenon.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/20 11:49 PM

It's less of a big deal because those women are financially independent and do not have to rely on a male partner for income, therefore there is less pressure for them to maintain a successful relationship with their partner. Considering (embracing) female nature is the entire purpose of TRP... Even low RMV women can get boyfriends/husbands, but that does not mean their RMV is high.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/20 11:05 PM

Those preferences are inherent to male nature and they do make a difference. A woman's sexual past is one of the most important factors establishing her RMV, whether or not she's willing to embrace that (many do not because they do not have an ideal past). It's like poor guys trying to cope by saying their income doesn't matter ("none of my ex girlfriends explicitly said anything about it, therefore it doesn't matter").

Seems like you're projecting. Virgins/low n-count women do exist (they tend to be younger, obviously), and they obviously have very little incentive to lie. Just because women, on average, have a tendency to lie does not mean it's impossible to find an honest one, depending on the stage of her life.

this n count obsession is blue pilled attempt at unicorn hunting. This post isn't even about n-count obsession, it's about women's tendency to lie about their past. There's nothing wrong with a woman being honest about her high n-count. The problem is her lying about it to her partner.

I said average women, not the ones you notice for being hot. The average woman is picky. My personal preferences do not influence that. "Men only gain sex from a LTR" - in addition to emotional support and chores You are intentionally misquoting me. Consistent sex is the primary gain for men from a LTR. The emotional support and chores do not adequately justify the time investment required for the average man to maintain a LTR with a woman, only the sex does.

It was in response to whether the average woman is picky. They tend to be. More specifically, the people I know in LTRs, the women have more to offer Having more to offer =/= actually offering and I can’t even think of any woman I know who is happy in a relationship. If she isn't happy, he isn't going to be either. Men gain more from an LTR They gain sex, assuming she's happy enough to provide it. the onus is on women to “keep a man.” She's only going to struggle with this if she's a loser.

You do realize that oxytocin production is regulated by estrogen...?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/20 05:50 AM

Estrogen is a critical hormone for both... Estrogen deficiency in both males and females can lead to decreased propensity to pair bond and associate with other humans in general. There's a reason why women tend to be more sociable and group-oriented than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/20 05:48 AM

They're more sensitive to the effects of exogenous testosterone because their natural level of testosterone production is already so low. So yes, female supplementation of exogenous testosterone can have large effects, even at relatively low doses.

A woman's father establishes her baseline of hypergamy. Women who lack an ideal father (possibly entirely) are inherently more desperate for male support, and are more susceptible to sexually-associating with "lower quality" men after the onset of puberty. This tends to set them up for a life of sexual promiscuity with increasingly diminished propensity to effectively pair-bond with men (commonly referred to as sluts). Men who lack an ideal father may struggle with their masculinity and may be i…

This isn't to say that there are no biological factors -- biology very much plays a part! -- but pretending socialization isn't a big part is short-sighted. Pretending that socialization has anywhere near the same level of effect as hormonal differences is short-sighted. Testosterone is the "driving" component of "sex drive." Normal female testosterone levels are not even close to even hypogonadal males (who notably lack sex drive compared to normal males). Estrogen facilitates attraction and bo…

When men lash out they hurt others, when women last out, they hurt themselves. Lol. Are you suggesting that men haven't had their lives ruined by women lashing out at them?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/20 04:37 AM

This is not completely true. Men will concede some physical attractiveness for a lack of sexual promiscuity when possible.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/20 04:48 PM

You have to realize that there's a biological explanation for "love" as well. The general basis for monogamy is that he becomes attached to her for sex and she becomes attached to what he's providing her (beyond the sex).

Ad hominens huh? Man, that makes your argument look super robust. It's a recognition of my hopelessness here. I can put numbers right in front of your face yet you will refuse to look at and understand them. Do you consider divorce or the state of being single to be catastrophic events on par with a loved spouse dying? Clearly not. Hint: widowhood involves losing a a man's loved one. Divorce tends to not (he doesn't love her anymore). Singlehood involves having no loved one to begin with. If I k…

Males fight until the death to protect their mates. Females do not. If her protecting male dies while fighting a more dominant male, she has to be able to submit to the successive male. If she resists, she is prone to getting killed herself. Sperm is cheap, eggs are expensive. Females value what males provide. It does not matter if her previous male dies so long as she is able to find a new provider. It's as if you're letting your ideology decide what the conclusion is, and twists the facts to s…

The evidence doesn't support that. It does. Do you have functioning eyes? Is your brain damaged? A far more supported conclusion is that those feelings of devastation aren't treated, and have more severe consequences when emotional support isn't sought or received. And with that logic they aren't being treated well for divorced and single men, yet for some reason suicide rates spike substantially more after widowhood for men than women.

The fact that you're still here typing indicates that you didn't kill yourself. Flip the scenario (you died and he didn't) and this study would indicate that he would have been 4x more likely to have killed himself (on top of the already established baseline that men commit suicide more frequently than women). Link a study explaining why male suicide rates significantly spike (compared to female) after widowhood while rates after divorce increase to a lesser extent and more consistently between sexes after divorce. The paper clearly indicates that young men are far more prone to killing themselves after losing their loving partner. Compare that to the much lower, roughly equal rates of suicide after divorce (when he probably does not love her anymore). It is therefore not unreasonable to conclude that men love more intensely.

If you weren't obtuse you would realize that no study is ever going to be able to directly quantify that. That is the whole point of discussions and conclusions in peer-reviewed studies.

Even if I managed to, you would find the narrative to screech about how "the redpill is a cult," like you're doing with this post by trying to avoid the fact that women are far more biologically equipped to move on from the death of their partner, labelling it as misogynistic nonsense.

The post offers that reason as a possibility, not an absolute. You're the one making lewd assumptions, not the OP. By the way, who do you think women use as "emotional support structures?" Both men and women seek professional help, but what about beyond that...?

I am saying that suicide is not the measure of how much someone grieves their loss. I mean, it's literally an indication of how worthless they view their life after their partner has passed... This can also be applied to divorce and yet men and women grieve the loss of their relationships similarly. And once again, divorcees tend to not love each other anymore. Divorced men tend to be disconnected from their partner and the reason many divorces happen is because the man has already found somebod…

And once again, if they actually intend to die then they're going to make sure they go all out with whatever method they're using. Anyone with a shred of common sense, no matter how intoxicated or impulsive they are, is going to realize that swallowing the handful of sleeping pills left in the bottle is probably not the most effective method, and they're probably not going to die as a result. Because the convenience of swallowing pills is that you can regulate your dose depending on how badly you actually want to die. If she's ready to full-send and actually kill herself then she can chug the whole bottle. As you said yourself, women choose less violent methods in general. Even when they're ready to full-send, they're probably going to choose a method that does not leave them with their face split open because they're concerned about their image even after death. When men send a piec…

Yes, once they had already committed suicide. Are you not reading what you linked? Obviously if they actually ended their life then their intention was to die. The whole point is that women end their lives far less than men do, as you said yourself in your first comment.

I'm not understanding your point. As I said, men handle the loss of a loved one far worse than women. They are multiple times more likely to end their life as a result. As the post explains, women are able to more quickly overcome their grief and attach themselves to the next most dominant male that shows interest.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/20 02:08 AM

When I'm referring to the "loss of a loved one" I'm talking about death, not divorce. Divorcees tend to not love each other much anymore, which is why young men tend to be a lot less suicidal after divorce than being widowed.

Doesn't mean there aren't women who want to die or who genuinely attempt suicide. Duh, the article you linked confirms that. And as you said, men are far more likely to commit suicide than women...because more men in total want to die.

That's like saying it's okay to rape since guys are less in control of their libido. That's a ridiculous false equivalence, so no. I'm not against outlawing abortions and I think explaining how to use protection is good practice, but I also believe there should be an emphasis on telling girls to "close their legs." OK I don’t see why that couldn’t happen with a “hot model” or a “porn star” either? First of all, models are not necessarily sexually promiscuous. There's a reason high status guys are picking up young fashion models for girlfriends/wives rather than pornstars. Pornstars often have troubled upbringings (which is why they're in that industry) and are inherently racking up a hefty n-count due to their profession. It's not uncommon for high status guys to have former pornstars as mistresses, but th…
