0	Mother’s Room I don't think you can truly ever predict a baby. Newborns need 20-40 min feedtime, now you may say why bring a newborn out in public but that's a separate conversation. After newborn stage, feeding can be quick but can also take a long time, maybe you should see a consultant but it's still an issue that affects many women. As far as pumping, even if you can't store it properly sometimes you need to just pump if your breasts is engorged and this can happen as quick as 2 hours. 1	Mother’s Room I don't think you can discount the proof I submitted. Like I said maybe your wife was special but there is overwhelming amount of evidence that support my previous statements. Also, as you witnessed your wife feed, I've witnessed my sister in law challenge with feeding a fussy baby. I have said many times throughout this thread I do think men deserve a space to take care of their child, I think a changing space in the men's room is necessary. 1	Mother’s Room I've read in books, articles and personal stories from my sisters in law and even in Reddit mom groups that breastfeeding in no way takes 5 minutes. I'm sorry, I just don't know where you got that info. Maybe your wife was special. I babysit my niece and it takes her at least 20 mins to take a bottle. Also pumping is done at home, but new mothers pump every 2-4 hours or it's get very painful and engorged, I don't think it's unreasonable to be out of the house for 2-4 + hours. 1	Mother’s Room I'm glad that worked for your wife. Agree to disagree, I see nothing wrong with having a clean area for women to breast feed and breast pump at public malls and such. It's also good to sit while feeding, which is hard to find a seat in public areas. I don't see how this negatively affects men. I think more space in a men's bathroom to change their babies is a great solution, a space for men to feed their children too. It's also logistics, like I said feeding and pumping can take 30mins +, where can a woman in the mall sit to pump for that long? Busy food court? I guess, but why not just have a lounge area they can be comfortable in, also near a sink and towels to clean up spills. 2	Mother’s Room I agree there should be a changing table in men's room no doubt. I mean why does it matter if it's called Mothers Room or Breastfeeding Room (which is very crass)? Women are still going to use it as a feeding room and changing room for their children.
