The Human Rights Act is completely separate to the E.U but I'm guessing you probably haven't done the reading required to know that

Cheers that's interesting. Do you know the male drop out rate? Most of the articles I'm finding don't seem to know it

Like how you should stone your wife to death if you find she's not a virgin, or how if you rape a girl you should pay the father 50 pieces of silver and marry her to make up for it. Ye this is the real Redpill rehashed

No but it does have an impact on peoples mentality. Noobs coming in out the back of a poisonous relationship see the anger and embrace it. Those guys aren't going to get fucking laid. The guys getting laid are the ones who see it all as a big joke and don't give a shit. The method of delivery is just extending the pain period for a lot of guys and putting a lot of other guys off from discovering the truth.

I've still not made my mind up on all this stuff but the best explanation I've heard of the Redpill view on love is that men love women like women love their kids. It's sacrificial, unconditional love. Men experience it from their mothers and chase it later in life from other women, but we never find it. Like I said I'm not sure what I think of this but I get the feeling it might have some truth in it

The biggest thing for me is the lack of humour. They boast about how they don't hold back with language and put the truth straight out there, no messing about. They call it real masculine communication, but it's not really. Most websites I know with high male demographics are hilarious. Sure the talk is very straight and few punches get pulled, but there's humour there. Redpill just has a weird angry vibe to it and when people do find something funny, it's along the lines of 'hahahaha look at th…

It's a big strawman for marketing purposes. I don't know if these guys are any good but it's mainly bullshit. Most of the times I see PUA mentioned on this sub it seems to be talking about MM for some reason
/r/TheRedPill27/07/14 03:54 PM

The problem I have with this is that what you're calling masculine communication sounds to me more like anything I hear on Feminist spaces than anything I hear on forums with a mainly male population. I'm right, here's the truth, anyone who disagrees or tries to debate is simply uneducated. Christopher Hitchens who's (quite rightly) loved on here didn't hold any blows, he'd rely on his wits though to put his point across rather than simply shouting down everyone else.

I think just going by the fact you've come on one of Reddit's most controversial subs and asked a really good question with a genuine desire to understand shows that you are a great girl. I agree with the majority of RP theory but in some areas are still a little unsure, this topic being one of them. What I would say is that the vast majority of what you are getting told on here can be clearly be observed out in the world and that we've learned not to put much faith in anything women say on emot…

That when arguing you should be aware of what your purpose actually is. Do you want to intellectually dominate your opponent or do you want to win them over. If the former, then assail them with logic, reason, facts and figures. Blast away their points mercilessly. But realise that in doing so you may just be entrenching them away from your position and no matter how good your argument you won't win them over. If you want to win them over then you can still use facts, figures, reason and logic e…

In fairness on a dark street at night girls are very vulnerable. I'm not going out of my way to negate her fear but I usually give a little space and use non-threatening body language. I just see it as general politeness, like holding a door open for someone. But I'm not going to go out of my way for some entitled bitch, just like I won't stand there for 5 minutes waiting for some fatty to waddle up to a door.

I skipped to the comments ready to go off on one about 'absolutes' and how TRP has so many newbie posts on game. Haha had to go back and actually read it. On the topic of the actual content though- it truly is the big thing you don't get told in school. I was very much the kid who had all the grades and believed they would take me wherever I wanted (lol). Interesting though some schools aren't as bad as others. Here in the U.K I do notice a trend among public schoolboys (confusingly means they w…

Depends if you can deal with his new-agey hippy vibe lol. The gold is really there in his writing but you have to read between the lines. Talks about how ego causes emotional pain, stunts growth and is at fault for most of the worlds problems. Also has meditation exercises for dissolving ego.

Yeah exactly, I think it's the most damaging thing to self-improvement. The funny thing is when I say this to other people they tell me they don't have an ego. It's a fucking bitch to dissolve, everyone has an ego! It's a serious level of consciousness to not have one. http://the-opt.com/artwork/OPT-236-shy.gif Ever read much Tolle?

Ego is really interesting. There should be a sidebar thing on it because it affects the vast majority of posters on here (myself included). Even the most BP of BPillers will have big ego problems and few people recognize or understand that.

One of my best friends is a chick. Not really better or worse than any other close guy friends. I just instantly call her out instantly on girl bullshit and she knows she won't get away with acting like that around me. Exception to the rule? Maybe, but it's not hard to find exceptions when you filter your social groups by certain values or boundaries

Great post. See to me this is what the guy was misunderstanding. He was framing the advice as manipulative, abusive, one-up man ship. To me Redpill is understanding that love can be temporary, it's something you need to work at. You have to date lot's of women, high quality women to find one you can love. And then it's your responsibility to keep developing yourself, and keep her attracted to you. Everything in this world is manipulation. What matters is whether you are offering value and doing …

The guy does understand some of the basic Redpill philosophy but is most likely very liberal, preventing him from seeing past the 'tone' of the sub (something I have problems doing at times). I have a friend like this, I actually learned about Redpill from hearing him slating it. The funny thing is that he's actually fairly Redpill, he just can't see it and would never admit it.

I don't understand what's wrong with this. Girl without much life experience meets loads of new people, gets herself in shape and grows in confidence. If guys decide to pay her way that's their problem. She even actually acknowledges the fat shaming as a long-term positive. So long as she recognises that her attractiveness is going to decline and that happiness doesn't come from excessive male attention then she's going the right way about her life

Is this effect the same as the monkeys in the cage with the banana's. 5 monkeys in cage, in the middle of the cage there's a ladder above which hangs a bunch of banana's. If a monkey climbs the ladder all of the monkeys get sprayed with freezing water. After a while any monkey that tried to climb the ladder got savagely beaten by the other monkeys. One of the original monkeys is removed and replaced with a new one, who instantly tries to climb the ladder and is beaten. Eventually all of the orig…

Depends what PUA you read. Saying PUA is external game is crazy, it's often both. Redpill is just an offshoot of PUA lifestyle with some MRA and politics thrown in
/r/TheRedPill22/06/14 02:47 PM

You lot strawman PUA. Everything I've read in here I've read on PUA forums and often in more detail. The only real new content I'd not seen before is the dark triad stuff and material on femine vs masculine love. The main difference is TRP has a heavy right wing tinge and a lot more hate or guys who've been really hurt before. I can't believe you'd complain about terms like sarging or kiss close on a sub that uses words like 'plates' or 'hamstering'

The problem with this sub is that it has to defend itself so much from the outside that there's no way near enough critical debate on the inside. Would be great to have a thread where we could all have a serious go at taking apart some of the Redpill assumptions from a devils advocate perspective. For instance I think that being selfish is not a trait of a superior man but it is something that could be argued as potentially redpill. Other topics could be 'All women are hypergamous' 'women are in…

I'm not advocating a choice either way but just remember that happiness has to be intrinsic, from within yourself and it won't come from sleeping with hundreds of girls or just that single perfect one. It's like I know travelling makes me happy, but I know in the end the worlds only so big. If you love her then communicate effectively how you feel, then if it doesn't resolve the issue take action. Also it's a common saying on here that if you have to say you are alpha, you probably aren't. So wi…

Here in the UK Obama is to the right of our conservative government. It's all relative but I wouldn't consider Obama leftist. I don't know why you guys take redpill stuff down the right wing politics route. Sure most of the problems redpill highlights have been produced by liberal advances conflicting with primal instinct but it doesn't mean we should go back to being cavemen. It means we need to adjust or evolve our more liberal society

It suits some people being pale but for most a bit of a tan is good. You can sun-bed, I get out in the sun alot so don't really need to. Just be smart with it and don't get burnt. Here's a pic showing the transformation of one of the guys that started the whole PUA thing. I agree both can be used to achieve a desired outcome but they are extremely different concepts and you can get far greater results with one than the other. Shame is attatched to ego and killing the ego is the first step for any man seeking to become his best self

Shame = something wrong with you Guilt= something wrong with what you're doing/thinking Shame is toxic to self-improvement, guilt is healthy. Attack what people are doing/thinking, don't attack people Shame is also why you get girls making false rape claims when they get drunk and have shitty sex. Shame culture is not good You see it with guys trying to improve their dating skills by going out and hitting on random girls. It's kind like seeing a guy hooking up with a girl is totally normal but if you verbalize exactly what the guy is doing it's creepy. What the subconscious implication of his words are, where he's looking, how he's touching her, how he's dealing with her friends and other guys, how he's making the logistics all work in his favour.

It doesn't mean anything to me either, it was just a response to your nationality issues. Out of interest then seeing as you have read so much, what is the issue with Tolle? To me his lessons regarding Ego are some of the single most important things a man looking to improve himself can learn.

Is female presence really destructive of the unit dynamics? I would think it is but the studies I've seen haven't supported that. In the U.K we've just approved women in the frontline. It seems a bad idea to me, more so because of there being a problem with men rather than it being a problem with women.
