I would hold of on the bank stocks for a bit. Currently in New York around 40% of renters and mortgages are not getting paid because everyone has been laid off. Pay for everything in cash. If your wife asks tell her it is because every transaction with a debit card charges the store a small fee which they aren't legally allowed to charge to the person using the card so they just average that cost into the price of everything. The grass eater phenomenon in Japan started after the economic downturn in Japan during the 1990s and really became mainstream in about 2005. That is a 15 year lag, plus or minus. MGTOW really started about 2009 right after the recession started. It has grown since then. I suspect that it will go really mainstream around 2022 to 2024.
