That's not true. It just a glittering generality that sounds good and fits with your (extremely limited) personal experiences. Some men cheat on a physical level. But some cheat on an emotional level, which I know first hand. Same for women. And even if what you said turned out to be the case, how does that show that men value loyalty and women don't?

Woah. I can't believe this bullshit is being upvoted. Women don't value loyalty and men do? Women never get cheated on by men who they love and trust? What the hell kind of twisted world view do you have?

Seriously? Even among younger people? Maybe I just grew up in a weird, liberal area, but most of the couples I hung out with split things down the middle, or one helped the other when the other was low on cash (that includes the girls picking up the tab). I've also had plenty of conversations with girls who feel uncomfortable when a guy they're going out with insists on paying for everything and won't accept offers to split the bill. I wonder how much of the complaining I see in MR about how wom…

Sir, I don't know if you realize this, but Reddit isn't a boy's only club. Reddit is not YOUR place on the internet. The women on the site are just as much a part of the Reddit community as you are, and have just as much right to say how they feel about the community. If you really want a place like you envision Reddit to be, you need to make it yourself, and explain in the rules that girls are only allowed as outside observers, but not real members of the community. "These women just need to sh…

I agree that it's fair to ask the man to pay half of the abortion costs. However, it also seems that you are arguing that taking responsibility for the decision to have sex with a woman is too hard. Sex produces babies. Men know as well as women do going in that condoms and birth control can fail. If men want to be able to peace out if a woman decides to keep an unexpected baby, they should discuss it with their partners first and explain that they have no intention of supporting any potential o…

But the consequences are unpleasant and expensive for her either way. It sounds like getting off is the only role you want men to have to play. The man gets to have sex and then wash his hands of the whole thing, and the woman gets to have sex then decide to either support a child alone or pay for an abortion and go through that ordeal alone? Christ. Her "decision" doesn't include the option to just magically make it all go away for free. I guess you'd suggest women just keep their legs shut unt…

What you said about there being no pictures of males receiving abuse is a an interesting point. I've never had an experience where I had to seek help for domestic abuse, so I've never seen the walls of pictures where men are shown as abusers and women are shown as victims. I still don't think anybody sees all men as violent rapists, but it IS a problem that people see women as the only victims of domestic abuse and any man who reports abuse is just whining.

First of all, because if you don't like when it's done to you, why keep the cycle going? That's like when one political party doesn't like another's tactic, but uses it anyway and then fires back "BUT THEY DO IT" when someone challenges them. Secondly, who actually thinks all men are violent rapists? Imagine if there were a picture titled "Does that about sum it all up?" where a man was shown to be a violent rapist and every negative male stereotype and he was just so awful that he reinforced a …

I like the way you set up this delightful caricature of women and then proceed to suggest that women always behave this way when you tell them something with those facts that they hate so much. It's like when a scorned woman says that all men are lying, heartless cheaters who can only think with their dicks. I sympathize with men on issues such as the way child custody tends to favor women. These sorts of things definitely need to be looked at. But if you want women to see your side and assist i…
