Hey man! I can’t imagine what you went through and I hope you get better. I was also a victim of false accusation and it was a horrifying experience. It’s the same tears, vomit and not wanting to talk to any female for a few years for me, even a little bit now. The mention of rape was pertaining to the premise of the conversation of individual Liberty. I talked about gender issues because my sister recently gave birth... would you rather I shut up when I disagree with the statement “men have control over a woman’s body”? What kind of conversation would that be. I’m not gonna sanitise my opinions and thoughts from a conversation with a friend just because it “may become heated”. Mentally stronger as in to cope with trauma. Idk much about an actual fight, tho i might agree that more men would fight than flight. Another interesting topic! Probably a few papers on this, I’ll check em out And I meant to imply that one gender might be stronger than the other, I was trying to understand if one gender might be able to cope with ptsd better or not. Sorry for the misunderstanding

I agree on the fact that men and women are biologically built differently, but I also once heard that women tend to be more mentally stronger. I wonder if the effects of ptsd can be varied between gender, would be interesting to see a study. Just to put it out there, I understand that PTSD can happen to anyone and it is a terrible thing. I do hope that I do not offend anyone in suggesting this study, I just find gender biology fascinating.

In Islam, Ameen (originally from the same Hebrew source) is used to end our prayers with hopes that god answers our prayers. I guess if you say awomeen, god will answer your prayers differently because you’re a different gender

Having liked someone for a long time, you tend to argue that “there is still good in her, she doesn’t deserve this” or “she’s been through so much in her life, she doesn’t need this” even though you know that you’re the one who’s going to take the bullet. It’s a stupid thing that impinges your rationale. I was lucky to have the power to put her at a weak position, but it felt more of doing it for vengeance than justice.

It was a hard dilemma for me because I knew it could indirectly harm her family financially. Her family did not have access to good lawyers unlike mine. But again, I was lucky to be in a position of power as much as she had. There are victims who aren’t in these positions. I’ll take this advice to heart for the future. Thank you
