Yup, they are like two species diverging with no way to bring them back together as they don't want to be.

Where do we comment when we want to agree with OP? Yes women's lives are more valuable than men. Females are the species of any creature and males just assist with procreation.

Huh. I know a woman with ridiculously high N count she gained during her youth, cooking for her cats and bemoaning her lack of intimate LTR.

I used to think similar. That dresses were giving in to the feminine stereotypes and it would automatically make me seem weak and dependant in others eyes. It wasn't until I met my girlfriend and she told me she wears hers for comfort....and asked me if I think she is weak and not independent just because she wears dresses a lot. No...of course i didn't think of her like that. So she helped me become more confident in wearing dresses for comforts sake. Unfortunately I do experience a lot more ap…

My sister has this problem. All the damn time. She is friendly to everyone. But some....most guys will read that as an in. As a sign they are entitled to hold on to a hope that they have a chance. When in reality they don't. It causes all sorts of angst on both sides as those who are friendly question themselves and wonder what behaviours they are doing to cause men to think they are flirting. These people generally don't want to lead others on. Especially workmates. And of course leaves the men…

Remember the Adidas model who didn't shave her legs and received death and rape threats for it? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-4955752/Model-receives-rape-death-threats-hairy-legs.html That's what society expects for just body hair let alone everything else.

There's such an inequality and discrepancy between the way the two genders generally present. But go ahead and do your thing.

Looking at people out on dates and the heterosexual couples will generally have a lady dressed up beautifully and the bloke in jeans and a shirt. He puts in little effort apart from rocking up. There's not many men I see who really match their ladies in that department. Even if they threw on a smart jacket or something. Tuck your shirt in. Make some sort of effort. Instead it looks like they may just be out shopping. Or going to the park or pub. Standard wardrobe.

If they even go their own way and stop just talking about it.

What? You enjoy your gf doing domestic chores? I'm sure she doesn't enjoy doing them. Could you do us a favour and ask her if she feels obligated ? Or tired from doing them? Does she come up to you and ask you to do bits and pieces? Like can you take out the garbage or don't forget the bin is emptied today, could you help her hang the washing out, take your plate to the sink, do the dishes etc. All those little things add up and they're emotional labour as pointed out by another person. It's exh…

It's good the company you keep don't expect women to take care of them. It's not what I've seen but maybe things are different here in Australia. Maybe we have a generation of mummy's boys.

I do figure out what a woman wants on any given day :). Dating women is so much easier.

Men want women to take care of them much like their mothers did. And they also want sex. And their ego bolstered. It's a short list but wow it's exhausting.

Nope it certainly doesn't. But also being straight doesn't mean he's not either.

I don't know. Maybe they want hyper masculinity and worry he gets too effeminate sometimes. It's like asking two gay or lesbian couples who is the man and who is the woman. Uhhh they're both the same gender so.....both of them.... it's like 2 spoons. Or 2 forks. One doesn't magically change into a knife.

Keen to peg him. So sure...hopefully he would be more open to that.

To do the first 2 a person would need the disposition for it. If they don't then they'd need to consider changing aspects of themselves to cultivate a desire to and then follow through with losing weight and learning skills. Doing the first 2 requires more determination and motivation than people realise.

Yup totally banging the lady. If the bloke has any use then keep him around but most of the time men can become tiresome to soothe and appease (especially if he has the hots for you as they can become confused as to why you haven't swooned at their stalker methods) so I echo sentiments earlier described - killing him may be an answer for sustenance.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
