Why do you think people are drifting apart from each other in dating and more and more people are perpetually single? You've obviously never had your birth canal tear and then had to have it sewn up. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/02/22 03:07 PM
Why do you think people are drifting apart from each other in dating and more and more people are perpetually single?Having peace in my own home that I can afford to pay for on my own without the need of a second contributor is not a hedonistic pleasure. If I were to pair up it would have to be with someone I actually like, that I can stand being around for extended periods, who had love and respect for me. Women in the past just had to go for someone ok-ish that could help them survive who they had to basically serve. We aren't traped by society not allowing us to look after ourselves anymore. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/02/22 03:02 PM
Does anyone know why there's a disconnect between OLD apps and real-life couples?Men don't say yes to everyone... They always say no to me. This isn't a good trope. Men are not all always up-for-it. It can be detrimental to them to be lumped into always horny category. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/01/22 08:18 PM
What is the outlook for western culture if too many women “never settle”?I'm not really hot girl summering, it's too cold here, I'm more comfy girl sofa-ing or going for beach walks in winter clothes and a bobble hat, but its so enjoyable having your own space and doing your own thing and not cleaning up after someone and living with cute fluffy pets. I would need a really good reason to give this up. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/01/22 08:17 PM
Have you ever been depressed about being single? How did you get out of that state of mind?I thought this was a pretty good book It's not you 27 (wrong) reasons why you're single Lockdown helped me. I realised how content I am on my own with my pets. Dating was horribly stressful. I felt like I was always being judged and being found inadequate. Nothing I ever did was good enough for these stupid fussy men. Then I got to be free through having to stay home by government mandate... And I liked it. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 06/12/21 06:18 PM
Reject a man if you meet him in the wild and your gut screams NO but your people-pleaser wants to give him your numberI turn away after talking to the dog. No conversation happens. Ok I maybe say hello, I'm not rude, but I am British. We don't really talk to strangers. The ones that actually talk to you are raging weirdos so you have to just get away as quick as you can by physically turning away and blocking with body language that you're now moving on or just walk away. Your first mistake was asking the dogs name. Admire the dog and move on. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 14/11/21 10:37 AM
Father playing devils advocate when it comes to sexual child abuse, but wife’s not sure what to do?! Raising daughters is terrifying. That reminds me of when my friend caught her husband cheating. He apologized and said he would never do it again. In his head he meant, "I'll never get caught again. I'll never cheat with that particular woman again." Obviously he cheated on her again. Took her years to actually find out because he kept his word. He didn't do what he had done before, he didn't make the same easily discoverable "mistake" again. Obviously this step father situation is worse, but her experience taught me to be care… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 06/10/21 09:49 AM
Stop watching reality TV and reading trashy novelsI would suggest Elizabeth Gaskell, L.M. Alcott and L.M. Montgomery over Austen. They explored the social issues of her time at all levels and female education and empowerment. Jane Austen only focusses on the upper classes, which is interesting to an extent, but they were in a bit of a meat market bubble where everyone is obsessed with status and marrying well. I know where you are coming from though. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 29/08/21 01:29 PM
Congrats scrotes! Your screeching into the void and constant harrassment of FDS and its members has continued to propel us to the front page!Yup, I found this because a man posted it on a mostly male dominated forum saying, "you need to read this." The first posts I read I disagreed with. I thought it was a Gold Digger subreddit at first, but Reddit kept recommending posts to me that I agreed with so I joined. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 23/08/21 08:02 PM
