I drive lyft, and carry while I'm working just in case. Only once did someone try to pull this shit, got violent, and I brandished. Ended up leaving them in the middle of a highway halfway from their starting point to their destination. 10/10 would do it again in a heartbeat.

You have the ability to end these stressful legal hardships, get her expelled from the school, AND force her to pay recourse to you for damages. Most aren’t completely aware of their rights within the law, and local police certainly don’t care to inform you of them or even protect yours. A case as cut and dry as yours is a small-claims’ wet dream. I’d push to pursue her disciplinary action to the fullest extent.

Personally, while life could suck in the military, I don't think I would consider that to be the type of "hard living" that would physically age somebody. I bet it completely shits on one's mental state, but I'd imagine that consistency of rigorous exercise would be amazing to your physical state. I'd imagine years of drugs and alcohol combined with lacking sleep would cause this young woman to look so horrendous.
