Well it could also have to do with it. It's culture after all.

This has to be a thing with American women. I married a foreigner, and know she would feel insulted if I just threw money at her if anything should go wrong between us.

I didn't need the '/s' to get it.

Exactly. I found that my most successful moments were those where I basically TOLD them they were going with me or we were going to see each other.

I dunno man. This is a weird situation. For one, I'm assuming she uploaded the photo to her "story" and I always feel weird screenshotting people's stories; however, it is bullshit that she wouldn't also get mad at a woman doing it. I basically stay the fuck away from anything to do with kids solely because of shit like this.

"Perfect, just the person I'm looking for. My friend has a girlfriend that hates it when he talks to his ex. What would you do if you found out your boyfriend did?" - Diffuses the situation, keeps her talking and thinking. You don't have to necessarily say this, but something along those lines.

Could be. I studied in the US for 5 years, live here now, and American women can be fun, but the experiences I had was just to never get too close.

Swear to god this is a phenomenon more pronounced in places like the US or UK. I grew up in South America and we don't deal with this bullshit.

That was so obnoxious I exited the video after 3 seconds.

Start planning for other places to go, not just lunch. Take her bowling, show her how to do something that you're really good at. Do multiple things, this'll show her you're fun and interesting. Aside from that, just ask her questions that make her think for an answer, nothing mundane like "have any siblings?".

If I'm younger I use it to my advantage (well, not anymore, I'm married, but I did this with my wife). I would say something like "guess my age" then when they guessed a few times I'd tell them I was absurdly younger than them, watch their faces and reaction, then laugh with them saying just kidding. This would diffuse the tension between the age gap and by me then raising it - albeit still younger than them - it no longer seemed as drastic as an issue. If they still say "you're still super youn…

Stop texting her so much and start acting like you don't need her.

Well if she was laying in your arms, or leaning against you, you're in an awkward position to initiate. Position yourself for a second, give yourself an excuse to get her up off the couch, lead her to the kitchen, or something, by the hand, and get close to her, if she doesn't back away, kiss!

I agree. This is why men are less willing to enter the dating field, and people wonder why women complain.

I don't remember the situation, could you refresh my memory? I usually don't wait long to be honest, but you have to keep it chill. Don't be overtly "cute" or "catering" to her. PM me if you would rather do that, I'm by no means the best of the best with women but I do generally do pretty well.

Came off too strong too fast! Leave it, radio silence is best for this situation, she might actually text you like after a few weeks... but we'll see

Alright, well I would send her something related to what I said above. It's an assertive message, you're not asking her, you're saying that you will do something and it leaves something for her to look forward to. See if she responds to that, if she just says "OK" or any other conversation killer, then don't respond or text back.

Gimme some more info... Were y'all drinking at all while on the date? Generally a girl will NOT text you - much less initiate - if she's not interested. I would respond with something along the lines of "alright, we'll get some _____ when you're back" and leave it at that.

Okay, that subreddit sucks now; HOWEVER, I think he has a really weak argument. The only thing I was convinced of was to not marry that particular girl, not rule out marriage as a whole. It's not impossible to find a girl that isn't going to make you feel like you owe her one for the rest of your life.

Do something fun. You want her first impression of you to be something out of the ordinary and something that gets her heart rate pumping. I'm never a fan of sitting down and eating/just talking on first dates (uneventful and cliche).

1) Don't say 'girl' 2) Write properly (ex: 'you' instead of 'u') 3) Stop trying to ask for her number, she has to want to give it to you 4) Letting them know what you want is okay, but you jammed it down her throat repeatedly... She says she's not into that but my guess is you could have had sex with her if you just wouldn't have been so direct (no girl wants to admit she's a slut, you have to make her feel like she's doing something she usually never does) 5) Make her feel like you're intereste…

At the beginning this doesn't matter so much. You want her to be attracted no matter what.

This sounds like my situation. You need to offer her something no other guy can (whether it's true or not). Make her believe that you're the one worth getting. Good looking women like this are often insecure (trust me, mine is way out of my league, but she likes me a lot, but I can tell she's full of insecurities about herself and our situation) and like to "keep options open", at least until you guys get really serious. Just take a deep breath, flirt with her in cocky/funny ways, be the man, bu…

Yeah, just try not to think about it too much. I'm not sure how your natural personality is, but follow your gut (as long as your gut doesn't want you to say "i love you be with me"). Always keep in mind that she's the lucky one to get with you, not the other way around. You're the prize.

She told you it was complicated? IMO, that's a sub-conscience IOI. Now, I'm not too good with the texting game to be honest, my main thing is face to face. I would have probably said something along the lines of "Complicated is stressful, come get some drinks with us tonight and I'll show you the levitating coin trick." It sounds lame but in my experience saying shit out of the ordinary works. Use your imagination, it's your best friend.

Give me some more details on the situations? Are you thinking about texting them? Or do you see them from time to time in person and just want to approach them?

There wouldn't be a response because that is Beta as fuck.

Typical. She's so insecure she has to give herself reasons to hate the things she's insecure about.

She should go to jail, or at least be fined a hefty amount. We shouldn't allow this type of shit to continue.

I mean both are at fault. But yeah I definitely make sure the protection factor is on my side (I'm suspicious of every girl).

Because you're a man and you have had rights for way too long. So instead of making shit fair now everyone has to fuck you to make up for it.
