Did one enlistment in the Navy and have worked for the USAF for 20 years as a contractor. My advice is to do your remaining 7 and reap the sweet benefits of retirement. You will have Tricare for life, a paycheck for life, base privileges for life, and you will have no regrets for life for punching out before retirement. I've worked for the DoD for most of my adult life and it is indeed a soul sucking misadventure in bureaucracy, but so it just about any other job. There's some extra layers of BS…

I had lots of LEGO's when I was a kid and I wish I still had them. My favorite set was the 8860 Auto Chassis. I learned how a piston engine works, manual transmission, differential, rack and pinion steering, gear ratios, and after I was bored with the actual set I just made my own mechanical stuff, then built the car chassis all over again.

My numbers were similar to yours. I've been on TRT for a year now. It's a lifelong thing once you start. I mean you can stop, but you will go back to the same shitty levels again. /r/testosterone is the place to learn all about TRT. You need a lot more labs done other than total testosterone to get a good picture of your hormones, but if your total T is that low then something is up for sure.

Briffault's Law was coined to explain the male/female dynamic in a matriarchal and primitive society. Briffault was an anthropologist and not a manosphere blogger. It is applicable to TRP because this type of behavior is codified in our DNA so we shouldn't be surprised to see it play out in a modern context. It is not some law that says only women will cheat on their spouses. It's far more nuanced than that and it is but one piece of the puzzle. You must take in to account hypergamy, patriarchy,…

There could be a shred of doubt in your dad's head that he is not your biological father. Remember we can only be sure of our mother. My dad was very much like your description. After years of wondering why he was such an absent prick to me it finally dawned on me that perhaps he think's he's a cuck. So I brought up this topic with him and my mom and lo and behold, my mom had an affair that ended just shortly before I was conceived. AWALT and all that you know. So I ordered a DNA paternity test,…

My dad would never respect my opinion, would through huge raging tantrums any time I tried to express myself, and routinely stepped over boundaries after I had my own family. This was how he treated me in my late 30's. I finally got tired of his nonsense and didn't speak to him for five years. I continued my relationship with my mother during this time but he was not welcome at my house and I ignored every attempt by him to contact me. I think you will find the answer you are looking for in the pages of his own book. It is an enlightening essay on how to operate in the world as it is, and not how everyone believes it ought to be. That is where TRP and Machiavelli intersect but "The Prince" will open your eyes to much more going on around you from your boss to politics.

He works for a DoD contractor doing aircraft maintenance on the flightline. This is a somewhat rare job but there's many more like it if you don't mind doing some work. Look at the rail road, welding, oil field (if there's any in your area) etc... Those jobs are out there, and people who are willing to work are in demand. Companies have a hard time finding guys who a) want to work, and b) can pass a drug test.

I went through something similar to this when I was in the Navy. I would come home for leave and my parents somehow thought I should be coming in at my old curfew times and doing chores around the house. I finally just had to tell them I'm in the fucking military now. If I come home on leave it's strictly by choice. I love the shape of my ass....said no woman ever. Dread is just the default setting for a woman with low self-esteem. It's always there so in a way it makes applying dread easier. You are not responsible for her self image or sense of self worth, so all you can do is be yourself and let the dread work for you. Is it possible your dad may think you are not his biological son. It wasn't until I was around 40 that I figured out my dad though he was a cuck and treated me accordingly. After bringing this up with my parents I confirmed that AWALT applied to my mom (she had a fling not long before I was conceived), and he had every reason to suspect that I was not his. When standing with arms relaxed, the palms of the hands should be facing the thighs and not backward. Poor posture and lack of mobility/muscle imbalances will cause the shoulders to rotate forward and the palms to fact more towards the rear. Proper posture with an erect spine, shoulders wide, and palms towards the thighs gives off the look of confidence. Shoulders slumped, spine not erect, and palms back looks beat down and depressing.

Yes, you need to have FSH, LH, Estradiol Sensitive, DHEA, and SHBG checked. With those a competent Dr in this field can tell if your testosterone is low due to one of several factors and treat accordingly. The most important indicator is LH which is luteinizing hormone. The pituitary secretes this hormone when the hypothalamus detects low testosterone and low Estradiol. If the LH is on the high end of the range and testosterone is low, then the testicles are not producing (primary hypogonadism).…

Without bloodwork showing total testoterone, free testosterone, LH, and estradiol you can't prove this stuff doesn't do any more than placebo. Testosterone is regulated by the HPTA, or Hypothalamus/Pituitary/Testicular axis. The Hypothalamus senses the amount of estrogen (E2) and testosterone in the blood and regulates the secretion of Leutinizing Hormone (LH) which then in turn stimulates the Leydig cells in the testes to produce testosterone. Some testosterone will be converted into E2 by arom…

VA loans, for one, if you can get one, but there's other ways to finance. No CC debt (that's a big one). A big mortgage carries with it bigger tax deductions so you have to account for that. Don't claim 0 on your W-4 if you have a family of four. It can be done easily with a little planning.

The kids who ran for stuco in high school run for city council as adults. Really, the social dynamics don't change much from middle school into adulthood. Doing body weight exercises is better than 90% of the couch potatoes out there. It's a great way to transform a "dad body" back into a fit physique. For a very minimalist approach you should at least get a doorway pullup bar. Pullups are no joke and will build your back very quickly. However, at some point you need to start picking up heavy things. Just a basic set of Olympic weights will be enough equipment to do overhead presses, deadlifts, barbell rows, power cleans, and many many others.

The Selfish Gene and The God Delusion. Both by Richard Dawkins. I highly recommend The Selfish Gene as this is not a book about atheism or religion but rather about genetics and evolution. It answers a lot of questions about evolutionary biology and TRP makes much more sense in the light of this book. The title is a bit of a misnomer because it's not a book about selfishness per se but rather survival at the genetic level. Cosmos by Carl Sagan is another great read. His childlike wonderment and …

There have been a few instances where my wife behaved in the most irrational way. These are the only times I let loose with TRP truths with her and lay out exactly how she felt and why she did whatever stupid fucking thing she did or said. In these few moments of absolute clarity, where I tell her in no uncertain terms that I know exactly what the fuck she's getting on about, she's backed down and never denied any of the TRP tenants we all know so well. Women are stunningly aware, and at the sam…

Honestly, it was a little more shocking to find out my dad was my biological father even though I look very much like him. He was not a very good father to me and I grew up basically hating him. I can understand better now why he treated me like he did. The doubt in his mind must have been ever present. It's the only explanation for why he treated me the way he did. If the results of the DNA test went the other way, and he were 100% excluded as my father, I would have felt much the same. I would…

You can only be certain of your maternal parent. I've been through something similar and I ended up paying for a DNA paternity test. The new paternity home DNA kits are around $70 but you need a buccal swab from the potential father. It gets a lot more expensive if you want to use hair or other clandestine DNA specimens. In my case my dad willingly submitted a swab. The test confirmed he is my biological father btw. So the lesson here is AWALT...even your own mother. In my case I know my mother …

I don't know how many vets are enrolled and actively in the system but there are many millions for sure. So many the system appears to be overwhelmed and I believe that's the source of many current issues. My state has two large VA hospitals and several smaller clinics. I've often pondered the same question "how can this be implemented for everyone". I honestly don't know. You may think I'm crazy for saying this, and it goes against what you hear about in the media, but I get my healthcare through the VA and it's actually quite good. The VA has it's own bureaucratic overhead with eligibility and veteran specific issues, this is true, but throw that out and you have a basic model of health care that works really well. If the same model were implemented at a state or even federal level it could work. Remove the profit motive and suddenly health care becomes more abo…

The stereotype of dating younger women and sports cars is pop-culture nonsense. The introspection and depression that occurs is definitely not. There will come a point in a mans life when he realizes his youth is over and that will force him to think about every decision that he ever took. THAT is the mid-life crisis. This is a period of deep introspection and malaise that will strike out of nowhere and make a man question his every move. During this period all the things that used to be so damn…

I don't disagree with you with regards to the idea of free speech. Of course that's an ingrained concept in the USA. However, there's different standards regarding the protection of free speech depending on the context. You can use passive voice in the present tense with informal writing, like posting on Reddit, and nobody will consider it a faux pas; except for the most aggressive grammar nazi. Native English speakers use passive voice most of the time with the spoken word. In my example "is sitting on the ground" would be very normal spoken English but in that example "is" becomes the verb and you can't "is". Is conveys no action in this context. Avoid these verbs: be, being, been, have, is, are etc. If you write a sentence containing any of those verbs, and the action of the verb is present tense, rewrite the sentence and replace those verbs with action. Example: "The dog is sitting on the ground." That sentence contains passive voice and could be changed to "The dog sits on the ground". Passive voice works for a future event "The dog will be s…

Free will and "sinful nature" are topics for theologians to discuss ad nauseam. AWALT is a praxeology and fundamentally amoral. The entire point of TRP is to acknowledge the potential behaviors, except that they are part of human nature, and adjust our own behaviors accordingly. That's not making excuses or giving anyone a free pass, but rather accepting there are certain preferences hard wired into our DNA. Those preferences manifest themselves in certain behaviors and thus the term AWALT.

Regarding your Bday and her response "well he didn't tell me what to get for him." Come on dude, she's begging for leadership. She doesn't respect …

Narcissist are not self aware of their personality disorder. High machs are at least intuitively aware of their ability to manipulate but may not know it has a name.

Introvert - Social interactions are emotionally draining. Solitude is stimulating and preferred. Extrovert - Social interaction is emotionally stimulating and preferred. Solitude is emotionally draining. Introverts can be social butterflies when necessary and adept at any social gathering, but find them to be draining. Introverts are mistaken for being shy but they are not; they just prefer to be left alone. Extroverts, for whatever reason, feel the need to "fix" introverts. Take an alpha with a…

Sigmas are introverted Alphas. Sigma doesn't give a shit about social proof because being around people is an emotional drain. Alpha rules by social acceptance. Sigma influences by playing the long game and works the minds of those around him. Adept sigma knows how to influence the mind of the alpha. Sigma rises to the top without anyone noticing and rather likes it this way.

How about giving her a nice firm slap on the ass. Be sure to get the other cheek just to make it even....women like that shit. You're acting butthurt and that gives her the power to make you, well, butthurt. Turn the tables and give zero fucks about this shit. If you don't care her power over your emotions is exactly nothing. Never play the silent treatment. You are supposed to be the oak tree here. Keep on doing what you do during the day. Let her do womanly things like silent treatments and gi…

My I suggest "The Selfish Gene" by Richard Dawkins. In essence, Dawkins posits that selfishness and altruism are hard coded into our genetics. Genes will dictate when selfishness or altruism will benefit the species. This selfishness is of course is not deterministic by the genes themselves but rather a result of the genes that have survived natural selection through the eons of time. As a species, the selfishness encoded in the genes promotes seeking out the most alpha mates and the altruism en…

Church and video games, the gateway to emasculation and beta. Church is full of shitty marriages. Why is that? Because the pastor is the AMOG and they will spin you into your wife's beta orbiter in no time. I can't think of a bigger blue pill environ than church. Where else does everyone worship at the alter of the sanctity of marriage uber alles. Where else will you find the dogma of cowing to the feels of women more than church? Every attribute of alpha is boiled down and reduced to sinful pri…

First rule of fight club. Don't talk about fight club. Also, your young and evidently live in a smallish town. Get used to others hating you for success. You obviously have the ability to take on some philosophy and apply it to better yourself. That shit will piss off your mediocre friends until the day you die. Let the haters hate and move on.

Think of TRP as a framework of time tested ideas, a philosophy, and apply the principles in your LTR. Use the FR's and other posts to gain insight into the female mind and behaviors. All of the female behaviors will present themselves in a LTR and when you recognize them act accordingly. Always maintain frame and learn how to pass the shit tests. It's one thing to pass shit tests and score a ONS. It's quite another to withstand them and maintain frame with someone you live with every day. THAT i…

You have been shit tested right here in your very own thread and failed. You have been called out by other guys and acted defensive. If you can't take a little shit testing by some dudes on the internet then it's no wonder your wife has lost interest. There must have been some attraction between the two of you or you wouldn't be married. What happened?
