My girl has told me that she loves when I put my hand on her throat for that very same reason. It's not strangulation by any degree, she just loves it when I take control.

The following quote from Silence of the Lambs seems pertinent: "Our Billy wasn't born a criminal, Clarice — he was made one through years of systematic abuse. Our Billy hates his own identity, you see. He always has, and he thinks that makes him a transsexual. But his pathology is a thousand times more savage and more terrifying."

This is my trumpet, there are many like it but this one is mine. My trumpet is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life...

I would imagine. I'm not too knowledgable with the British system, but in the US recruits go to basic training and upon completion they advance into the school for the specific job they'd perform on active duty.

Jesus, talk about not knowing what you don't know. This video is rife with assumptions.

Is it normal for recruits in basic to learn how to march in formation? Yep.

Yep. Staring isn't eye contact. It's like the difference in football between contact within five yards of the line of scrimmage an pass interference.

Smile. Smiling people look happy. Happy people are approachable. You may have to learn a casual grin, people are perceptive enough to know when you're faking it. I make eye contact with anyone in my path. They'll usually break eye contact first. In regards to peripherals, you do t have to move your head too far left or right to get an idea of your surroundings.

Or they're in a culture they've never experienced before and are looking for the closest semblance to home available. In this case, ethnic communities and other students from their country.

I hold a gun to your head and force you to read a script in which you confess to a heinous crime. I record said confession. Should that be admissible as evidence that you committed the crime? How would anyone listening to an audio recording know that you've got a gun pressed to your left temple?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
