She's using you as a source of validation, self-esteem boost, and most likely trying to get back at her ex by flirting with his social group. Personally, I would leave it at that, it won't be worth it to lose the group of friends that may or may not give you status for some girl. Guys are not like girls, we live by a very simple set of rules, and not fucking an ex-girlfriend is one of them. If they get wind of it, they'll drop you like a bad habit.

Exactly this. When you both met your SMVs were comparable, now that you've made improvements to your body it reflects on your SMV as well. While this can be good for you, it makes her more anxious since you're desirable to more women now.

Definitely agree. I find that the more comfortable you are with yourself, the better dancer you will appear to be because a) you don't give a fuck; and b) the appearance of you not giving a fuck comes off as confidence which is essential to being comfortable/looking good while dancing. If you want an example of this in action, go to a rave and look at the people dancing. It's an environment where everyone is just feeling the music and dancing to their own vibe with no one caring and everyone hav…

Happens to the best of us. We've all been there. Contacted my ex after a week of radio silence and she was super cold to me. I used that as fuel to finally move on. Don't be so hard on yourself, use the way you feel right now as a catalyst to pick yourself up and start a new chapter in your life.

I'll make a date at the beginning of the week for Saturday night and go radio silent until the morning of where I'll send a quick text, something long the lines of "hey are we still on for tonight?" If she doesn't reply, I'll considered it a flake but I've never had anything but a warm response back confirming the date. YMMV

Fantastic post. It resonates so well with what I went through lately that it's almost as you wrote it about me. Like you I decided to end it because I started to realize that the man I was now wasn't the same man that she fell for and our relationship was becoming more trouble than it was worth. I wasn't focusing on myself and I could see the end through her behaviour and mine. Thanks for writing it up

I couldn't upvote this enough. This girl has been with you through all of the good times, but most importantly, the bad times. My first girlfriend has never left my side despite the fact that I've had three other girlfriends after her. We've known each other for 12 years and dated for 6 before we broke up because I wanted to experience new things. Before the typical, AWALT, she was cheating on you etc, is brought up, we'll just run on the assumption that none of that happened since we still stay…

Feel free to plate her for sex and company but don't give her a chance and make sure you keep your head on straight. She only wants to lure you back in to make it work just so she can flip the script and leave you on her terms. Her ego simply cannot take the fact that you called the shots in calling it quits.

I'm genuinely curious, if you were in an LTR, where's the balance? I'm sure you cannot be closed off to the point that slay_it_forward stated below can you?

good on you man, i've been in a bit of a dilemma wondering if i should pursue an LTR with a younger more attractive 24 year old as compared to my ex whom i have known for 10+ years (dated for five). Problem is my ex doesn't quite do it for me physically while the lust with the 24 year old is off the charts. I know my ex's loyalty to me is completely unwavering but still unsure how to proceed...

This guy was being a drunk dick on television plain and simple. The female reporter actually took the time to follow up on him to which he proceeded to act more like a dick. I'm from Toronto and there's no love lost or sympathy for this guy. He acted like an idiot and now he's facing the consequence (albeit harsh). Regardless, there's a simple lesson to be learned from all of this: Don't act like an idiot in front of national television.

You're considered "off limits" since you're in an LTR. They can't have you but that makes them want you more. Keep up the good battle and don't give in because as soon as you do, boom! All the attention disappears and things will go back to normal. Why? Because they successfully seduced you. 1) Women will always want something that they can't have. 2) Women will always want what other women want.

Yeah, I get a feeling that's what's starting to happen. So what do I do? I was thinking of something along the lines of stop initiating (sex, outings, etc) until she wises uo or gets some dread in her.

You're pretty spot on friend. I have a tendency to slip back to beta habits after a while especially if I really like the girl (unfortunately in this case) How do I go about soft nexting her if she's already my LTR?

Starting keeping records of everything. You need to start building a case against your wife (soon to be ex). This means that you should start keeping records bill payments, mortgage payments, etc, especially if you're the one that's been paying for them. Do not leave the house, do not act hostile towards her in anyway. Proceed with the marriage as if you were the ideal husband/father. Contact a divorce attorney immediately.

Well put. It's easy to associate TRP with the idea that it's a type of "silver bullet" or "secret weapon" when it comes to getting girls. It's not. You win some, you lose some. "Sometimes Goliath kicks the shit out of David. It's just nobody bothers to tell that story".

If you hang around with a group of people that gossip while you're there, you can be damn well sure that they'll be gossiping about you when you're not. Avoid these type of people if you can, they have nothing to contribute but irrelevant drama about people's lives that you shouldn't even care about in the first place. If you can't avoid them, then simply add nothing to the conversation. Most importantly, NEVER TAKE SIDES

I can speak from experience here. I have/am currently doing this and it is VERY effective. Especially more so when the women you're friends with are attractive. If you make what you're doing seem natural and effortless, you're LTR will realize that you have a plethora of options. In turn, she'll feel "special" since you're the one that "choose" to be with her. Also, her competitiveness will kick in and she'll fuck your brains out at the mere thought that there are other girls, within your circle…

I do this with my girlfriend all the time. It's amazing how much TRP changes your perception on media, especially unscripted home improvement shows like the one you're referring to. It's easy to see the beta bux in almost every couple that gets featured. Just look at how the wife treats the husband and makes the decisions regarding the house as if his only purpose is to serve as a walking check book. The best episodes is when you get to see the wife not so subtlety flirt with the host of the sho…

Every time I hear the phrase "man cave", it makes me cringe as much as "happy wife, happy life". The term itself implies that a portion of your living space is designated "yours" while indirectly implying that the rest belongs to your significant other. I've spoken with my LTR about this stating that if/when we decide to move in together that I will be free to jerk, off, decorate or rearrange the home in any way I see fit. I will not have a man cave because that entire house should be open for m…

So true. There's something about dating a girl in her early 20's as compared to one who's in her mid 20's (25-27) to her late 20's (27-29). The younger girls are always so enthusiastic, so bright eyed and game for just about anything. They're impressed with just about anything you do with them since chances are, they haven't experienced it yet. Compare this with a girl in her mid/late twenties who carry this "been there, done that" attitude which gets real old, real fast.

i completely agree. Second generation or "western/american" asian girls are as hypergamous/entitled as they come. However, I find that despite all of this asian girls never seem to hit the wall as fast as a typical american white girl due to several reasons: 1) Genetics allow asian girls to generally age better; and 2) Asian girls keep armies of beta orbiters around throughout their party years thus allowing them to have a somewhat "decent" selection when it comes to their beta bucks

Like you, I was VERY uncomfortable applying RP to my life even after almost everything there is to read about the subject itself. There was one part of my brain that knew RP made sense but the other part (blue pill) that was equally as skeptical. When I started actually applying RP and seeing that the results actually worked verbatim as some of the stories and field reports you see here, I was amazed. I now see RP as a way of living, akin to being on steroids if you lift. The results are incredi…

I have a similar story, I have a two friends that both proclaim that they LOOOVE snowboarding. Given the fact that they're women, I was very skeptical. Fast forward, we're on the slopes (I'm a beginner myself) and I'm with Friend #1. I see her snowboard and I'm completely blown away. She's incredible at it and she's doing tricks that most guys (yet alone girls) on the hill couldn't even do. i personally started working out in order to be attractive to girls. That was my initial motivator. It changed eventually when I got to see how fun it was to be athletic, in shape and all that jazz. What motivates you may not motivate someone else and vice versa. In the end, it's all about the person's will.

After I had just unplugged, I asked a plate of mine to do me a very minor favour for me (dropping something off at my place which was only a 10 minute drive away from hers) and she still couldn't do it saying that she was "sooooo busy". This is a great way of seeing whether a girl likes you or not.

Thought this would be relevant here. When I initially met this one girl, she was probably 2-3 points higher than me in terms of SMV. By the time we started dating, I had been lifting and dieting religiously such that it bumped up my value to that equal of hers. I noticed that when we were dating, she started insisting we eat out more (primarily meaning unhealthy food). It got to a point where she would playfully "dare me" to eat large size servings of ice cream, chips, etc. while she would just …

I can't help but feel a little sad for this young girl. She's at her physical prime, chaste and comes from strong traditions. With the amount of "you go girrrl" or "you're too young to know!!" she's receiving from her friends, she'll probably break it off for a chance to hop on the carousel. After a few years of being "strong and independent" she'll realize what huge mistake she made when she sees how no guy in his right mind (at least any alpha she'll desire) will want a girl that becomes as us…

Don't be surprised that jobs "below your pay grade" are not calling you back because why would they? Whenever they see someone that is extremely overqualified for an administrative job, they can see the desperation. They know you'll leave as soon as you find something better so they don't bother.
