Putting off completing a degree isn't as big a deal as what the degree is worth in the first place. Consider your long term goals. Many parents want children to complete college regardless of major. They don't realize those children may be wasting time on a worthless degree they will be in debt for for the rest of they lives. Read worthless by Aaron clarey

I'm 30 married with one child so far. I'm just find other women with whom to talk. I seem to be on the outs philosophically with any other groups whose label I might claim for my own. Intelligence is always refreshing.

Many underestimate just how much both parents working costs. As a housewife you spend less on gas and convenient food than a two income house. Not too mention better food and time for activity leads to healthier happier family. What's the price tag on that?

When I tell people I'm a housewife they always try to point out what other things I do. As if I had said something self depreciating. (I'm also an artist and do local theatre) I use most of my arts at home because it's my choice. Basicly when I say "I'm housewife. I too was hesitant to make an account and start commenting. Mostly because my experience with internet forums has been that women especially don't want real conversation they want validation. This forum seems refreshing. I just wish there were more ladies like this I could connect with outside the internet.
