Do NOTE that the reason you lack success might not at all be your skillset or even your potential. There have been studies that indicate luck compounds on itself in a term coined meritocracy which means one opportunity leads to additional opportunities and one set back leads to additional set backs. Given the above if you have dealt with a lot of set backs it will take a while before your skills actually matter give it time and try and keep a diligent eye out for opportunities to break the cycle…

There is a third camp which is those that are confident but also tend to struggle being understood. Usually this is the camp the nerds that are nerds because of a knowledge or vocabulary gap that keeps betraying them fall into. In the above case more confidence magnifies the problem since they need to filter out information not take in more and they need to master filtering of information based on there audience before being outgoing solves there issue. As a nerd myself for this exact reason I c…

I had a vocabulary that hurt in all social constructs where just using it made the other party feel stupid I started aiming to make myself seem as dumb as possible so when the inevitable vocabulary use popped up I had enough points against me I didn't immediately burn bridges it helped immensely. I admittedly still need to get better with this I have only started to see things turn around I haven't made a full 180 yet.

Additionally I want to draw attention to your point some problems can't be fixed this helps reinforce my clarity point as you can never solve an issue by addressing the wrong root cause in any field not just psych.

I actively said I didn't train in psych but rather that you should focus on clarity first you never know you might be having issues from a lack of clarity. Not an inability to solve. This lack of clarity stance is one that occurs in many fields. In tech if you are unclear on the issue you do not end up solving the issue and it returns. I do study tech so that take on clarity in that context I can say I know with absolute certainty.

Ask yourself if it is depression or burn out they look identical but are very different in 1 key area, burn out is a lack of belief in chance encounters depression is a lack of belief in yourself, if you address burn out as depression and vice versa you will perpetually be afflicted I say this as it matches my experience I have not trained in psych but it is worth indicating this due it's level of impact.

Not always sometimes people give credit where credit is due because they believe that is the most fair thing to do. These people do however have a tendency of being mispercieved to your point however.

He might be like some who get complimented on counterproductive traits such as a vocabulary when the relationship issues in his past all stem from a poor vocabulary filter. In that scenario the compliment only proves his/her drawback exists. This dynamic covers a lot of similar scenarios as well and is as such pretty common. I too am cynical about the compliments in some domains.

Correct might be flaw - humility vs flaw + humility since this precisely what that virtue covers and it is valuable and deserves to be used where applicable.

Confidence might the wrong term as embracing a fault is literally humility and this is exactly why the adage "humility is the mother of giants exists" since being aware of your faults is how you learn to find there upside yielding growth. This is why some consider humility attractive since they grew up living by this adage.

There are some flaws you need to hide because explaining them often makes you come across as pretentious a deep vocabulary and next to no information filtering skills is virtually impossible to explain away you need to intentionally hide the majority of your vocabulary knowing the odds are not in your favor and chances are the other party will not understand most of those words and even if they do it is a risk using them due to interpretation also running the risk of being varied. This is actual…

If instead your strength is mental just like all mental activities the right words used at the right time in this case with dirty talk can help immensely since words are what sets the tone and the right tone can be tremendously erotic.

To start I want to thank you for your input it is good additional information to consider. To proceed I merely used that example because it is the clearest form of the dynamic I have ever seen and real world parallels exist to which your correct are very different in key areas the specifics of the environment I meant to reference was things like vocabulary but that is too 1 dimensional of a domain to nitpick so I wanted to pick the most extreme version of the dynamic to discuss and well 1 thing …

I agree with this but I also understand there is a flip side of improvement no one ever talks about and it is often portrayed albeit awfully in characters like sheldon cooper in media. That is the inevitable rise of your standards brings with it the requirement for potential partners to be able to keep up or alienating yourself by accident. In the real world knowledge gaps can exist regardless of age. The way many cope with this reality is sacrificing there standards as it is that or being alone…

As per the note from above you need to see the value in it for it to provide results and some don't see value in it and just because some put there efforts elsewhere doesn't make them lazy. Hell some of the most famous intellects in history had such a high degree of obsession that all that they ever did was there passion this implies that it is in fact possible to be ambitious and not have a strong physique.

Or you do not see value of physical strength in todays era and would rather use the time instead to study which often magnifies the problem as your vocabulary is the muscle that grows often times. Don't call studious people lazy hell half the time we spend more time studying then those who work out spend training physically. I for example average 3-5 hours per day studying and I graduated college 7 years ago. The disconnect between expectation and reality is that the expectation is that there ar…

On this note there also exist those who describe things in words few understand from English such as contingent among others even if you choose a proper topic you can easily burn bridges with words like that.
