REMINDER Before you post saying something about how this is typical of women, or how the legal system will "probably" side with her (with no basis or precedent for saying that); Keep in mind that this has very little to do with advocating men's rights. This is something that one horrible person did to another. Please dont turn this into an opportunity to demonstrate any anti-women prejudices you harbour, because that kind if response invalidates this subreddit and undermines it's aims.

It's posts like this that make reading MR depressing. We need to stop focusing on what some idiot said in a Facebook post and concentrate on actually advocating men's rights. Or have I got this wrong? Is r/mensrights just a place for people to set up straw man feminists so we can all feel better? Who gives a fuck what someone said on Facebook? One reason for this is the growing popularity of “Men’s Rights Activism” (MRA) — groups of men who refer to feminism as “misandry” and advocate vociferously that men face more discrimination than women. Its popularity is growing and is especially active online on sites such as Hacker News and Reddit. Does anyone else see this as a straw man argument? Does anyone here really think men have a harder time than women? This is a genuine question. I support MRA but I don't think that men have it worse…
