You've just described the transactional element of sex work my dude. You can understand why people do it on a fiscal level, but if you get any actual proximity to it in real life i.e girlfriend is friends with a camgirl, or someone in your class you like has sugar daddies, clearly it's a conscious decision to live an isolating and sometimes pretty shallow existence, in spite of the lucrative element.
