OYS #1 - Physical Health - Keto is helping with weight loss and inflammation. Down 2 pounds this week. 21 pounds in total lost from my SW. Goal this week is to keep doing well with my nutrition and just go to the gym. If I can just get my ass in the door it’ll be a victory. Marriage - I’m in an emotionally and physically abusive relationship. It’s unhealthy for me, and it’s unhealthy for my children. I want a divorce. I’ve spent three years avoiding these facts. I tend to come up with a new cove…

Yeah can’t disagree. I’m a fat fuck right now. I will say that 220 is a very lean version of me. I was 189 in high school at 4% BF and two inches shorter. At 235 I was in size 34 pants and women would stop what they were doing when I walked into a room. I’m a former body builder/wrestler/football player. When I lived in New Zealand everyone thought I was a pro rugby player. That’s why my wife was attracted to me in the first place. (I’ll get back to this in a second) No excuses though still gott…

You are me at 30. Nice guys want to over fix things. They think that perfect scenario is right around the corner. I guess just ask yourself what it’s going to take. I’m 40. Read my posts and ask yourself If I had gotten out at 36. My concerns have been and still are the exact same as yours. Now my kids are old enough that I am scared for them and know it’s time for me to live my own life. 40 will do that. You physically can’t live someone else’s life anymore. Read “the middle passage”.

OYS #1 Age: 40; Height 6'1; Weight 268 BF 27% Wife 35 ( married 12 years); Children: 11 and 7 years old. Completed Side Bar: NMMNG, MMSLP, WISNIFG, Rational Male. How to win friends and influence people. Psychological: I was a member of a cult for 39 years. (Mormon Church) Leaving it is incredibly difficult. The threat is that you will loose your family and everyone you've ever known will essentially stop talking to you. This is true even if your family doesn't officially disown you because afte…

Yeah no problem whatsoever! I make videos professionally for a living so was a bit harsh :) I think one of the main things that’s great about this sub though is the intense focus of the participants. There’s a high quality level expectation for all men involved with this journey so you’ll get pushback if what you post doesn’t meet those standards but discovering them and taking feedback is a huge part of it. I’m honestly terrified to post simply because I know I’ve been a whiny bitch in my marri…

dude has 220 followers and this video has a handful of views. This means the marketplace has already spoken about the merit of this video within the context of MRP. This does not belong in the wiki. That’s not how merit works when creating content. You don’t simply get added to the wiki because someone’s little brother or fake reddit account asks for it. You need to first create good content that has a broad appeal and adds value. This video furthermore doesn’t add any value to me. Side bar has …

Focus on diet while you’re waiting to get back into lifting. Diet will do more for you getting lean than lifting will so you can still be working on getting the BF% down. Take it as an opportunity to learn to eat really cleanly and focus 100% on it.

Prayer , church attendance and scriptures often enough that she can brag about it to her friends at church. Those things increase her standing among her friends and in her mind equate to spiritual leadership. Pro tip: make a box of index cards by hand with the most famous scriptures on them. Take one out and talk about it at dinner or bedtime with the kids. Takes 5 minutes but will completely make your family one of the “most spiritually led” in the congregation if you can be consistent. You don…

If you want to see your future read my pathetic post history. I stayed in my marriage for religious reasons for ten years. I grew up Mormon. Found out it was a cult a few years ago. Left two years ago. No more religious guilt about ending a fucked up marriage. Problem is I’ve been in it so long I’ve internalized her dialogue. I’m in the frame of a mentally ill person. So it’s taken me a lot of extreme cases to wake the fuck up. If your wife is truly mentally ill and not responding to therapy. GT…
