Women are worth it... Just dont let them lord it over you. Sadly most women these days are worthless and think that the puss rules everything... NOPE!!! It's WILL! Do things! Achieve things! Make the best possible life for YOU and it will all fall into place on your terms.

I will of owned the house before the relationship so it would not be considered marital property. Besides i would never marry a woman anyways and there is no common law wife bullshit in my state.

Preparing your own food is a great way of saving money. I brown bag it every day into work. A guy i work with goes out every day for lunch 8-12 bucks a day. He is spending 2-3k a year for just lunch. Wanna save alot of cash and eat well? buy a small freezer and buy meats while they are on sale. You can keep meat in a deep freeze for about a year. A month or so ago i bought 15 pounds of choice new york strip steak for about $2.50 a pound i think, well was under $3 way cheaper than half price.

In general i agree. My deferred comps mutual funds have been performing at about +5% on the rate of my mortgage. However markets fluctuate and sometimes bust, but a paid off house is a guaranteed roof over your head. Also i would love to find a stock that consistently gave me the returns that a rental property does, 8%-15%... A 100k house in my area can easily fetch 10-12k a year. Plus you have genuine equity. Hell you can literally put your hands on it. The bad thing about it is that its counte…

You pay less interest over time. But more importantly in my book you get that debt behind you. You never know what life will throw at you whether that be unemployment, sickness or something else. If its paid for... Its paid for! Plus there is always "falling in love" and marrying which if you dont already own the property outright You will have to split upon divorce. This is my personal property and will not be divided during a divorce. Regarding interest. Ive heard it often said that a person w…

Deferred Comp Ive been doing $200 a paycheck for years. $4800 a year. Im gonna max out til retirement $18k a year after jan 1st. Ill even have more spending cash unless i eventually decide to get another rental. Which i prob will. My savings are weak right now because ive focused upon paying down debt. Ideally want 50k in savings within 4-5 years.

" Never let people in ur life know. " That's sage advice. " Rich people always think their poor. And poor people always want to act rich Remember that.. " Again sage advice. But it's damned hard keeping your mouth shut when you have watched your family waste their money on vacations and crap for a decade and you did the smart thing. I gotta rub it in a bit...

Sell what? The 2700 square foot house I almost completely own, or the apartment i already own? There is a housing crisis going on because it costs more money to build a house than it will be worth. Nah i will hold and attempt to acquire more. I'm def not overstepping my bounds financially, if the bank calls the loan i can pay it. My worst case scenario is that i move into the apartment and rent out the house at this point, i just dont see that happening.

That +800 credit rating will allow me to get another rental at a cheaper rate, it opens doors. I already have a rental and the extra money each month is real nice! I want another rental. Either way i could just pay off the mortgage after February anyways, I'll ride it out with $15 a month in interest for better credit. Thanks for the response!

Don't eat out, learn to cook. A guy i work with goes out every day for lunch $8-$12 a day 2k-3k a year for lunch! I brown bag it. Get a freezer! Buy meats on sale. Wanna eat chicken this week? OMG chicken is 4 bucks a pound. I paid 90 cents a pound and froze it. Last week i got 'choice' new york strip steak for 3.88 a pound, i got 30 steaks. It's good for 4 months in a bag or 1 year if you vacuum seal it. Think ahead! Become handy with tools!!! Cannot stress this one enough! I do the 'fix' at my…

I've lived frugally for years. No car. 6 payments from outright owning my house. I outright own a nice rental apartment downtown. Ride around on a $600 bike. I wear nice clothes. Yet not having that nice car is the first thing they notice. Thinking of gtg a shitty car and a cabin on a lake 40 miles away right now, in a year or so. I'll drive my shitty car out to my cabin and fish all weekend.

Things that didn't happen for 100 Alex... Dude just own your own life and quit spitting about what a playa you are with a measly $800. Work on a career and assets then you can punch above your weight. Own your house... File a 1099I every year and shit will fall into place.

It's my house. It's not marital property. A simple lesson from rabbit breeding. "To mate rabbits, take the doe to the buck. Important: if you take the buck to the doe, the fur will fly, as does are very territorial. If she's not 'in the mood,' she'll wreak havoc on the buck." Simply... Never take the buck to the does hutch, she views it as hers, it isnt shared. However if she is in the bucks hutch she will be more compliant. People arent rabbits. But knowing that the roof is 100% the property of…

Congrats! Now pay it off before you enter the dating world again... Ive spent the past 5 years paying x4 on my principle payments and in 6 more months i own the bitch all by myself. I cant stress this enough. Own your home 100%.

I took a break from dating to solidify my finances. For the past 5 years i have made x5 payments on my mortgage, in 5 months i own my house completely and my rental apartment completely. I will then take half that money im not spending anymore and put it into my deferred comp from work and the other half as spending money. I'm a few months away from the dating scene again. Get your shit together before you enter the meat market. Wish someone had told me this in my 20s.
