Thank you for posting this. Nice to know I'm not the only one who's like this.

I feel really bad for kids today. When I was growing up in the 70s and 80s, anything dumb I said stayed there. And when we said it, usually there were older guys who laughed at us until we stopped doing it. He won't even get the chance to do that.

Oh wow, that was a TOTAL plot twist! Like M. Night Shyamalan wrote it, except less shitty!

I wouldn't even imagine voicing an opinion on these issues in public. By the way, when people get emotional in a discussion, it's never about the discussion itself - they're projecting their own problems. Don't be surprised to find out that the ladies in that conversation were have issues with their SOs (if they have one) or the guys were insecure about their prospects. It only matters if you care. It sounds like something in the discussion was troubling them.

No, seriously, do you remember at the end of the elementary school year when the teacher and students start to take all that paper mache stuff and posters off the walls? Put both those two images next to each other and show them to random strangers, they won't see a difference.

I'm not even sure it's real - it looks fake. Who walks onto a ledge like that? Like I said; interesting.

Yeah, I hate to admit it, but few things are more enjoyable than turning down a woman's offer. Women in the States almost never ask men out and will do everything BUT actually ask a guy for a date - the potential ego damage of rejection is too great, they won't do it. Women have this amusing move; when they're interested in a guy they'll set up social situations where she, her target, and a whole bunch of other people will be in the same room (this can come in the form of b-day parties, for exam…

I've never known a suitable mother in my generation. I'm not comfortable with the women I've known throughout my life to raise my children. It's all the other stuff, too (like losing everything you've ever worked for in the inevitabe divorce, for instance).

After I completely wrote off the possibility of marriage (after spending decades watching my friends get cut in half in divorce court in multiple countries), my mind started working on the alternative life without even realizing it. That decision to not get married, subconsciously, informed my spending habits and future goals and aspirations. I won't be a wage slave or cuck. That's for other men, not me. I'm not sure if it's true, this idea that people "die alone" if not for marriage. Did it com…

Lifelong MGTOW. I never bought into the white knight, self-sacrifice bullshit. So, I don't know what it's like to be encumbered with life-destroying drama. My understanding is that it sucks and it's expensive as hell. Life's awesome.

This is a bigger deal than it looks. Basically, it's a tacit acknowledgment that MGTOW is having an effect. I think that if they're trying to solve a problem like men finding alternatives to marriage and are going on strike, by far there are smarter ways of handling it. A lot of MGTOW don't even care about porn and I suspect that the ones who do already have collections of it.

Take a look at point 2 here; http://www.forbes.com/sites/jefflanders/2013/04/02/five-reasons-your-prenup-might-be-invalid/#758d1ba42e3d So, I'm no expert in marriage and prenups (thankfully), but I've heard attorneys mention the "duress" issue as well and that they had signed their own prenups while being video taped. I doubt most people are doing that.
/r/MGTOW10/01/17 11:43 AM

The prenup option doesn't really work, I'm sure you've read it here before. A submissive personality can be a trap, too. I think to find this woman you have to move to a poor country or another planet, otherwise MGTOW is the only hope for a man's happiness.

No choice, if you want to get through school you're going to have to tell them what they want to hear just to get through it and do something productive with your life. The intelligent students are the ones who can see through it and stick to real world facts - this is straight up indoctrination into fascism.

I love that cat playing the keys at the end of those videos. I watch those vids just to see that - I laugh out loud every time. The vid's also good, too. MGTOW101 has gotten a LOT better in the past 6 months.

Well, it's very simple. Women have played, traditionally, a critical role in a man's life and now they don't. These days, the opposite is true. So now men have to figure out what to do without them. MGTOW is a manifestation of this. This shift is not without its cost, men want women in their lives but it's become impossible to justify. This sub is stuffed with examples of it. Some MGTOW have decided to go monk, others have decided to continue on the path of success and responsibility as though a…

I never hear that from anyone. Everyone around me knows I have better things to do than get sawed in half. I mean, strangers might say it, but they're married and miserable themselves.

I wasn't trying to be funny. That's pretty much one of the last pockets of society where someone could pass through the OP's if statement.

750 would be great, but even 700 would be okay. Pie-in-the-sky stuff. No modern woman would pass this if statement, you'd basically have to date Amish.

I asked this question once myself and I wasn't the first to ask it, apparently. The answer I got is that because a NAWALT can go AWALT at any time, you pretty much have to assume AWALT. I didn't know what to make of this answer until I read divorce horror stories in some of the subs - guys ending up getting fleeced after 20 years of marriage. Even assuming that women are right to want to get away from their husbands in these cases, it buttresses the point that the institution of marriage is not …

No question, there's less motivation to try when you're not a wage slave. Totally normal, and that's the point - you spend your energy where it suits you. Personally, I use all the free time to excel in my line of work and planning for the future. I find that there's always a ton of time to get everything done as a MGTOW, way more than I need. Ours is still a blue piller's world, they're the ones who need all that time we take for granted.

Some people look down on living with parents, which I don't get. It's bad to live OFF of them, but living with them can make sense compared to living alone. BUT, if you live with parents, you should pay them rent (or SOMETHING) and then maybe kick them a few extra bucks every month to help them out (kids should support their parents if the parents did a good job raising them). Never mooch.

Wait until your 40s - women will have absolutely no hold whatsoever and, if you've played your cards right, it'll be the golden years in terms of money and career.

So, you're not alone in thinking this. I'm in my mid-40s and there have always been complaints that things are getting bad, but this is the fever pitch. I talk to older people quite a bit (in their 70s, and 80s) and they agree that this is the stuff of nightmares. Most kids now have no inkling at all how much of a mess they are because they have nothing to compare themselves to. They think that all of this is perfectly normal and their ambition is to implement tax-paid college, legal marijuana, …

I think it's a trick men play on each other to increase the population. Has something to do with the animal kingdom or something. Yeah, don't fall for it. The pressure from other guys doesn't stop until you screw up and listen to them.

I've seen this. I've only been in one LTR (I learn quickly). Statements to look out for; "I'm not like those other girls" "I would never cheat" If they mention either of these, they are and will.

So, she's picking up coffee and making muffins for men who do manual labor for her. SHE could have done the shoveling, but she took care of the food instead. This sounds familiar, I can't put my finger on it. It almost sounds like the total opposite of gender equality. I would have been more impressed if she had never used or even heard of Tinder, frankly.

Oh, I totally have something that'll replace marriage forever right now and doesn't cost a nickel. It's called, "I'd rather die than sign it". It's amazing how it works, men don't sign anything and in return they get to keep everything they ever worked for and remain masters of their household and lives. Everyone wins! Well . . . every MAN wins. On a related note; guys, can you believe Capcom released Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom on PlayStation4? Guess what I'm doing all day Saturday while no one's…

Entertainment is a reflection of society - they make these movies because they think people will spend their money on them. Some make the argument that movies are propaganda and that they're part of a feedback loop, which seems true (i.e; movies push a message that their makers think people want to watch which in turn is absorbed by the consumers who think the message is cool and perpetuate the behavior found in entertainment which leads to more of it.) It helps to explain why pop culture concep…

I'll tell you what worked for me, not saying it's the same with everyone. I'm a lifelong MGTOW (ISTJ) and the worst years of my life were when I went off the rails and tried for a LTR (happened once, it sucked, never again). Testosterone is the problem, it makes you do things that defy reason. As you get older and it levels off, life improves dramatically. There are men in the world who can't live without a master, they need to be married so that their life has structure. Not me. I will never do…

In my experience, here are some instantly effective methods of handling this; 1) Tell them you have sick elderly parents or grandparents who need your help in the evenings. 2) Pretend your married. 3) Once a quarter, remind them that recruiters on LinkedIn keep contacting you and that it's driving you nuts (this may well actually be the case). 4) Get a better job. It's not an employer's place to figure out if your personal life leaves space for workplace situations that don't involve you, especi…

We don't have any female coders in our department. We have some females who work on the lower end part of IT (Help Desk and AV), but not in anything higher. No idea why that is. I've seen women in IT throughout my career, but the numbers are low and they're not stars. To be fair, most of the men (98%) I've worked with were not stars either, they're basically just good enough to get the job done because star players are REALLY tough to find in my area in my field. But when we find them, they're m…
