| 1 | How to get banned from r/FeminismI understand that. But it doesn't change the fact that these two people appear to want the same thing. He seems to take issue with why she wants it, but that seems irrelevant to me. There's a lot of assumption being made here. I didn't see this person say "laws should be written based on how people feel." They asked if we should strive to make people feel safe. From what I can read, she wants people to feel safe and he wants people to be safe. I don't see a need for conflict. | /r/MensRights | 18/12/16 07:31 PM |
| 1 | How to get banned from r/FeminismI get that. But I don't see why it matters. If you're going to build a fire to prevent hypothermia, why should you care if other people think the fire should make them feel safe. You're still going to build the fire. | /r/MensRights | 18/12/16 07:18 PM |
| 1 | How to get banned from r/FeminismSure. By that doesn't change the fact that they both want to keep people safe. If he wants to build a fire to prevent hypothermia, and she wants to feel warm, they oh still want a fire. | /r/MensRights | 18/12/16 07:16 PM |
| -1 | How to get banned from r/FeminismI don't know. I already said this once to someone else, but I'll say it again because I think it illustrates how I read this: It's like someone who wants to build a fire arguing with someone who wants to feel warm, because "the fire isn't about your feelings, it's about preventing hypothermia." They want the same outcome. | /r/MensRights | 18/12/16 07:14 PM |
| 1 | How to get banned from r/FeminismReally? My response would have been. "Our goal should be to keep people safe and hope that they feel safer as they become safer." This is manufactured conflict. It's like a person who wants to build a fire arguing with a person who wants to feel warm because "the fire isn't about how you feel, it's about not getting hypothermia!" It's a silly argument. | /r/MensRights | 18/12/16 07:09 PM |
| -1 | How to get banned from r/FeminismThey completely agree that people should be kept safe. How are you coming to a conclusion that isn't true? Sure--one thinks how people feel is important, and the other doesn't. But that doesn't take away from what they do agree on. They both want people to be kept safe. | /r/MensRights | 18/12/16 07:00 PM |
| 1 | How to get banned from r/FeminismI get that. But it still doesn't change the fact that these people share a common goal. They want people to be safe. | /r/MensRights | 18/12/16 06:58 PM |
| 0 | How to get banned from r/FeminismSo you're saying the person who asked the question doesn't want people to be safe? Only to feel safe? I'm not sure how you can come to that conclusion. | /r/MensRights | 18/12/16 06:57 PM |
| 2 | How to get banned from r/FeminismI'm not sure what you're reading. The comments I read didn't mention anything about writing laws based on emotions. One thinks it's important that people feel safe, and the other doesn't. But they both seem to be in complete agreement that people should be kept safe. | /r/MensRights | 18/12/16 06:52 PM |
| 0 | How to get banned from r/FeminismThat was great. But I still don't see how it changes anyone's goal. Both of these commenters still want the same thing. | /r/MensRights | 18/12/16 06:38 PM |
| -13 | How to get banned from r/FeminismI didn't see anything about hurting someone's feeling with truth/honesty/logic in what I read. I just saw two people arguing about an issue in which they seem to be in agreement. That we should keep people safe. | /r/MensRights | 18/12/16 06:34 PM |
| -9 | How to get banned from r/FeminismYou're talking about the same things. If we ensure people's safety, they will feel safe. It's just a matter of protecting people's rights and letting them no their rights are protected. They aren't separate issues; they go hand-in-hand. I'm maybe missing context; but your conflict with the other redditor seems entirely semantic. | /r/MensRights | 18/12/16 06:09 PM |
| 12 | Pregnant and ready to settle down? Oh boy!If she didn't have the line about not being a sex doll, she'd be worth a whirl. I'd let her reach her hand into my wallet if she was willing to perform the services I currently pay prostitutes for. I wouldn't even mind if she partied and had sex with other guys. I'm sure my gf would like her, too. | /r/MGTOW | 03/10/16 10:56 PM |
| -2 | Woman uses the standard "I was sexually assaulted" line and gets pinched for false accusationsNo. I prefer to think people like that don't exist. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 19/09/16 08:21 PM |
| -15 | Woman uses the standard "I was sexually assaulted" line and gets pinched for false accusationsI'm just going to pretend the "s" was supposed to be /s and is just misplaced. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 19/09/16 06:17 PM |
| 156 | And the message is finally getting out there...I'm torn over circumcision. On one hand, it is an unnecessary procedure. On the other, I think there is some value in consuming the foreskin of your offspring. | /r/MensRights | 02/04/16 07:23 PM |
