Doesn’t have to be. Japan’s situation is not a good comparison for plenty of reasons.

For a lot of reasons. It’s also a thing on the men’s side.

Those are rules that have been planted by most of society. A shift is happening toward non-gender roles. Instead of hating on women, why not just advocate and try to understand both perspectives?

I don’t think it has to do with gender at all. I think communication skills are lacking with your generation.

Okay. You’re obviously just having a conversation by yourself.

Historically, sex is a huge commodity. This whole women using men financially - can’t say the same, at least not by choice. If you’re looking for a “why” to explain it, there it is. If you’re looking for a solution, it’s not “just fuck me and get it over with”.

And you’re talking about contracts and exchanges when that isn’t the case. We’re talking about waiting until a certain comfort level is reached. That does not mean exploitation. If you feel like a woman is taking advantage of you (I’m guessing financially), then waiting until you get to know her to pay for expensive things is okay too. A woman should be open to that preference too (as long as it’s not vindictive).

Looks aren’t everything. Sometimes a human craves more of a connection. Esp when you’re more serious about commitment.

There’s a reason why waiting is an effective skill to learn.

A valid relationship doesn’t start on day one. That’s a lot of fucking and I’d recommend both parties not to consider jumping the gun so fast because STDs and pregnancy scares happen more frequency with higher n counts.

Is this how you deal with everyday people? Well, they’re not fully comfortable with me at the pace I desire. I’ll just throw them away!

Doesn’t seem like your values would align with that person’s. And that’s okay. Seems to me that you might be a bit butt hurt by some past experience.

That’s a pretty cynical view.

Example: Date 3 and you are finally feeling the connection. You two book a room and the guy you so thought real potential, corners you and puts you in a vulnerable position. Also, context matters.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
