You fixed nothing lmfao. Like I said, you're fishing for things to get to me. Lol.

LOL. You think I thought you were OP? No dude, I know how to tell who OP is, and I knew you were some rando commenting on my comment because "OP" isn't next to your name. You're fishing for things to say to get to me at this point. I was replying to the guy that said "Found the feminist" as if that wasn't already incredibly obvious. And you only made more assumptions about me like the last guy did - who I knew wasn't OP, just in case you needed me to clarify for you. Lmao.

Patriarchy is why men were forced to lose their lives in war & why women couldn’t participate (in hand to hand combat). It affects both men and women negatively. Men are oppressed in different ways because of the patriarchy too. They’re told to stuff their emotions up inside which leads to toxic handling of emotions etc. The oppression women face def isn’t imaginary tho. That’s like if I told you the oppression you face is imaginary. It’s not. It’s just different kinds of oppression. Women are a…

Actually no, we didn’t hate men. That’s not what feminism is about… if you read a simple definition online, you would see that. Also, I don’t see what’s so funny about there being a class on women’s rights. Would you find it funny if there was a class on men’s rights? I didn’t think so. Hm, but wait. Classes specifically referred to as “men’s rights” don’t exist because (white) men haven’t been the oppressed group throughout the centuries. Men are talked about constantly in history courses, the …

Dude. I wrote a twelve page paper and took an exam for a psych class all yesterday. I was tired and on Reddit for a break. I didn’t feel like trying to explain myself to someone who I figured wouldn’t listen to me anyway, so I decided to respond peacefully. You didn’t have to just attack me outright. Goodness.

I was responding to the first part of the post. Just wanted to say something quickly about it (it’s finals week for me and I finally got a break tonight to respond). I don’t believe either of us will change the other’s mind here, and I don’t want to argue. Besides, conversations like this one are usually better in real time than over text tbh.

Hm I also seem to recall using more than just my experience as a rebuttal. Anyway. I don’t really belong on this subreddit since I view many of the men who populate it to hold toxic views towards women, so there is a general attitude in my responses that reflect my disapproval of this. Figured I’d stick around to see what it’s about for a little while, and I think I’ve seen enough. But I didn’t mean harm. I am just frustrated too for differing reasons.

Woman here, and I do not think men are any less than women. There are a lot of things about being a woman that men in my life have misunderstood repeatedly, however, and degraded me and other women for, that cause this sort of response from women.

This isn’t so much a critique on feminism as it is a critique on Sylvia Pankhurst. I identify as a feminist and find what she said appalling. You also have to consider why women would feel so extremely negatively towards men back then, however. Objectively speaking, women did not have many rights during her time, and were rightfully angry because of that. I am not condoning what she said, but it sadly does make sense why she felt as angry as she did given the time-period she lived in. I fully ex…

I don’t want to bother wasting my time being too imaginative on people of your type. I’ll settle with a word that very accurately describes a person of your stature

There's a lot to unpack here with this comment. I'm sorry you feel unwanted.

Respectfully, wtf. "Men with good intentions will be driven away from society before coming back with a vengeance"... Any good man would not let one movie showing a common negative experience many women face in their lifetime (myself included, unfortunately) dissuade them from being good citizens. What the actual fuck. Ironically, while trying to stand up for men's rights, you just made men look worse.

I just wrote a research paper about close heterosexual relationships. The data shows that "as many as 1 in 6 women will be stalked in [their] lifetime[s], yet many stalking cases are not taken seriously by the justice system" (Black et al., 2011). Furthermore, the National Institute of Justice Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that 12.1 million U.S. women compared to 3.7 million U.S. men are stalked in their lifetimes. You can be mad at the trailer, but the data shows that stalkin…

I’m so upset you won’t answer further comments of mine (not). Btw bro, at least I can take the heat of knowing I’ll be downvoted and still say what I believe in instead of using a burner account. You are a coward and you are fake by virtue of using a burner account. That says it all right there, you wrote it yourself. Smh.

You are my hero for commenting this. Reads sarcastic, but it's not. Thank you so much for commenting this.

Yeah now that I think about it, I think they're a fake too. I looked at their account and saw the one post too. Also OP, if what you said is true, that is fucking cowardly. You are trying to avoid getting "canceled"? Maybe that's a red flag that you know deep down you're in the wrong. Smfh.

I honestly feel sorry for you that those men got to you. The top comment says feminists hate each other. We don't. Feminism brought my entire (all girls) high school together. Feminism has actually united me with countless women across the country. Not everyone is like your friend, and the patriarchy is a thing that oppresses BOTH men and women. This post makes me genuinely sad to see as a woman who educated herself on these issues and is currently taking a class on women's rights. Like wow. Thi…

Brave of you to comment on this post. Most of these guys aren't going to listen to any women. They've made their stance crystal clear :/

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
