I’ve been living in a small city in Scandinavia the past few years while going to college. I met most girls through classes/social circles/parties etc. Kept a Tinder profile going and got some matches here and there. Girls usually answered when I started a convo, some even said hi first. A few months ago I moved to a large city in the US. I have never had trouble getting laid before, I’m in my low 20s and have just over 30 notches on my belt. Mostly with cute scandinavian 7s and 8s. I’m not gett…

Really? I think one superlike for every 10 normal matches is normal. So this pretty average looking chick is getting 200+ matches a week. That's lower than what you'd expect? Fuckin hell women have it easy these days.. I'm definitely better looking than her, I'm tall, athletic, dress well and have good pics where I'm doing cool stuff and I've only got one super like from a disgusting fat chick. Depressing

Hahah okay okay. Yeah I'm not planning on packing up immediately and moving somewhere just for girls. But I'm open to exploring the country and it's nice to know what cities are good for different stuff. Since I just moved here I don't have a lot of stuff tying me down, so once I get some experience at my current job I'd like to eventually try to get a job somewhere else. I'm planning on moving back to my home country in 5-10 years anyways.

Well thanks for sharing what you do know, I really appreciate it! Looks like I have to do some independent research. Oh and IT = Information Technology, which is the field I work in ;)

Ohh this is interesting. I think I might have been talking and sharing too much about myself. So do you think girls here aren't willing to hook up until they let their wall down first? How long does this usually take? Lol Thanks for sharing your insider knowledge man, much appreciated!

Huh. Well good to know. You seem pretty knowledgeable on cities in this country, do you know anything about the situation in Boston, Denver or Minneapolis? I'm work in IT so ideally I'd like to move somewhere not too hot that has decent jobs with decent pay AND decent women. What cities would you recommend?

Gotcha, thanks. I might have to give the east coast a shot instead. I've heard the likes of NYC and DC have a lot more women than men, which would at least make things a little easier.

Oh okay. Reason I asked is I've been hearing similar stuff about Seattle in other places too. Would you say girls in the south are easier to hook up with as well? Are they not only hotter, but less uptight too? That would be amazing Too bad I can't really take that kind of heat..

I'm starting to realize this... I'm getting almost no matches on Tinder here. 3-4 matches with 6/10s a week. I was getting twice that in a city 1/100th the size before I moved here. Seems like there is a LOT of dudes here working in the tech industry. They shoulden't be that tough competition, but one of the girls I met (a HB6) said she gets like 20 super likes a week. That seems pretty crazy, I'm probably not even showing up on these girls phones.

Damn is it really that bad here?

Lol, 2/3 of the girls I've met here have actually started talking about how much they hate Trump the first time we met. It's pretty ridiculous, can't avoid this shit anywhere. Unfortunately I still have an irresistible urge to stick my dick into a warm hole, so I'll have to plow on through.

Damn, I should have figured as much. I guess I'm just more confident in my home country. I don't think I'm socially inept per se, but I come from a strict Christian "No sex before marriage" household myself and have always had some difficulty being sexual with girls without them doing some of the work themselves or me being drunk. Thanks for the advice.

I know you're right, I have read the side bar. I know over 50% of marriages end up in divorce, but I want to learn how the other ~45% make it work. I believe a marriage can provide a better environment for my potential future children. I just don't know if it's worth the risk. Thanks for the response.

Thank you, this is more of a response I was hoping for. I already know that marriage is a bad deal, I just want to know if its possible to make it work. I'm set on having kids sooner or later and want to be able to provide the best environment for them. I know what these guys are saying is true. But I already have decent SMV and its only going up. I think I should be able to find a woman with a good background who has little to no red flags within ~10 years (I'm 24 now, would like to settle down…

You're right. So I guess if I still want to get married I should aim for someone with a similar economic background as well. Thanks.

Thanks for the response. I'm not planning on cheating on the potential mother of my children, I'm just wondering if it would hurt to marry her first, before having kids.

My parents aren't loaded, but they are definitely upper middle class so I would be up for a sizable inheritance. That's not the most important thing to me though. I still want to have kids regardless of their opinion, so if the difference between kids and kids w/ marriage isn't that big, it wouldn't hurt to win their favor.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
