| 3 | This really resonated with meWhen I was 10 my parents divorced. My dad suffered a heart attack which lead to having surgery. The judge ruled my dad's health too severe to grant custody so my mom was awarded custody. She told the judge she didn't want me (it would interfere with her new life and boyfriend) then signed away her rights. I spent 7 years in different foster homes and group homes.
